You need to be more obvious with what you mean with me. Whilst Academically intelligent my understanding of written comments is shocking haha

Apologies hahahaha no harm intended!

haha I need to also learn that my humour doesn't always come across as intended when I type it lol

No need to apologise - well apart from Jedward... (another attempt at my humour haha)

ufff... this is not good. I admit I have only listened to Home once. But I really don't have any urge to listen through those everlasting 3 minutes once again. This touched no part of my body... only left me unconfortable. I dont think Kobi's voice suits this kind of song. I did not like the melody, nor the instrumentations. Maybe others find the lyrics good (I admit they are not only love, love, peace, peace), but again; they didn't do anything for me.
A big no from me.

Okay so this song is KIND OF ridiculous and formulaic. But I think what ultimately sells it in my mind is how...earnest it is. God, it's so weirdly sincere that I can't dislike it. It's very "theme song for a movie about a kid who's gay/blind/poor/whatever but really wants to be an opera singer and really believes in himself." Bless. Malta aren't serving the uniquely Maltese "aw, bless" this year, but Israel certainly are.

7 8 points.

Israel wants to be a good host and follow the footsteps of recent hosts by becoming last.

Love this, very special. Sure it’s nothing new musically but it reeks of authenticity and soul. Those vocals and melodies are shire quality and the choir-element really bolsters it. Surprised the reaction so far hasn’t been so positive.

This song is very relatable to me as a gay, poor, occasionally blind individual. Your description of the song, along with the music video in which multiple Kobi's that weirdly look like Måns Zelmerlöw (see I'm blind) at times, really helped me to unearth the beauty nestled deep within this darling little song. It is as you point out, incredibly sincere. You can really buy Kobi's passion here. That bit going into the final chorus is my life. I feel it. Hands in the air. His voice also is gorgeous. Yes, he sounds like Cher, but dammit, I love Cher.

Kobi also has a lovely mustache. I'm 28 and I still can't grow a proper mustache. It makes me emotional just thinking about it. That brush that gently kisses Kobi's upper lip takes my breath away.

I feel like this is potentially a 12 pointer song for me, but I've got to do it in stages and be in the right frame of mind, so 8 points for Israel.

Whoops I meant 10 points.

Whoops I meant 12 points. I am SOOOOMEWAAAAN I am SOOOOOOOMEWWAAAAAN.

Meh... At least we know Israel is not winning this year. This is fine, but there is nothing spectacular here. Maybe with staging they can do something, but still... I gives me "My heart/hard is yours" vibe from 2010. :D

Tumblr, mostly.
Everyone is going to hate me for pointing this out but Kobi Marimi looks like a potato. He's one of the least good-looking humans to set a foot on a Eurovision stage in recent memory and that's in itself is a massive hurdle to overcome. Ugly doesn't sell unless you can turn it into a quirk. You know what also doesn't sell? Boring and whinging and lifeless, all of which are traits applicable to his song.

In short: this is a fucking throw. I can spare a pity point, I guess.

This is so depressing for me. The sound in the beginning creeps me out. Not a fan of Israeli entry this year.

Israel hasnt finished last in 41 entries... I think it's realistic this year that this finishes last.

I am sorry Israel, this is just bland throughout. The only good thing is his vocals, but then I feel his singing style could either turn people off or make people like his song.
This is a no for me. Giving it a 4.
