More a 2013 case than a 2015 one for sure.

There was no ethnic flavor in Moran's song. That was just a song without melody.

Correct. Harel (Israel 2010) didn't like her cover.

I know they use a talent show method to pick the winner but this proves why it's a bad method because focus is not on songs, if someone is doing a cover good or bad is completely irrelevant since in ESC they will be judged on the original song and not just on vocal and performanc skills (unfortunately ESC also got the talent show disease to some extent but fortunately since talent shows in general aren't as popular anymore as they were some years ago this hopefully will start to die down in ESC aswell).

By the way I hate the format with the percentages. It gives "for" to the last performer.

Once we see the running order we would know who's the production favorites. My (and all the Israeli ESC fans) think it's Nofar...

The performing band is the Israeli "Backstreet Boys". They were huge in the '90 and now they advertise their reunion show that would take next month.
