Oh so someone who is still bitter of a comment made by someone (who obviously was uneducated in the subject) 10 years ago is more comfortable in her skin? Well I beg to differ what comfortable means then.. I'd say it's the total opposite of comfortable acting like that.

Also there's a big difference in the comments. One is obviously made out of uneducation, the other is just meant to be a kindergarten type of rudeness.
Charlotte's comment is obviously meant to be a kindergarten rudeness. Just like her previous behavior to ESC participants.
And nothing justifies that.

ps. And yes. Dana is more comfortable in her skin and she has a full right to respond to offender in such way.

Haha okey whatever. Saying "he" about a transsexual is often made by people not educated in the subject. I also said that back in the day. It's not meant to be rude.

Anyways still doesn't make Dana look comfortable if she needs to talk about someones look 10 years later which was just Kindergarten (eew she looks like an alien) c'mon.. that's just silly.

And about rest of Charlotte's comments, it has nothing to do with the Dana thing so it's not interesting for this discussion really.

Anyways it doesn't matter, if you think Dana's response is a response by someone who is comfortable in her skin then it's up to you, I'm mostly surprised since I actually thought if anyone Dana should be comfortable enough with all her history and rude remarks behind her (some of which have been far worse, some didn't want her to compete for Israel back in the days just based on her sex change alone for instance).

Also I'd gladly see the qoute/clip where Charlotte actually talked about Dana, could be interesting.

But yeah Dana's response is sooo based om maturity and comfortably :lol:

Dana discussed Charlotte's entry. Charlotte was rude against Dana's personality and physical features.
What's so unclear? Charlotte is a biyotch towards Dana and it was THE least which she deserved xshrug.

Okay whatever.

Charlotte said "he" instead of "she" and Dana said Charlotte looked like an alien or whatever.. and you say Dana discussed the entry and Charlotte where the one being rude against physics?

This discussion isn't getting anywhere really. I'm no supporter of anyone when it comes to whatever they supposedly have said, but I don't think saying "he" is the worst thing one can do if it's done by the fact that you're just not educated on the subject. Rude is when you do it by purpose.

Charlotte could wear at least a normal makeup and use a normal light in her performance in order do not look like that.
Discriminating transsexual is miles more serious. If someone changed his sex to female then it's she, it's simple as that. And it's not about education.

And Charlotte did it on purpose because the case is obvious. You rather accept transsexuals or not.
Though all of this has nothing to do with Israeli entry.

Trust me it's about education and not disrespect. I'm gay myself, some years ago I would also call transsexuals "he" though, not because of being rude, but because I was simply not used to that and knew exactly about what it meant. Nowadays I say "she" though, because I feel more informed about the subject.

You have some grudge against Charlotte it's obvious. It doesn't matter really. This discussion is rather useless.

^ Good boy

I think the 1st version is the official one

I don't know really, some say the first one (since it's on the CD), some say the second will be used for the show though hmm.

I think if it's on the CD then it will be on ESC.

That wasn't the case with Israel 2009 and it hasn't been the case with some other entries in the past aswell (especially entries that decide to change language for the live show).

I didn't expect all these reactions from people. There is a difference between speaking the truth and being rude. Plus we may wanna check what the definition of 'truth' is. Because YOU think she looks like a alien doesn't make it the truth. How many aliens have you seen so far???? Saying that someone looks like an alien is rude, not honest. If I said Dana looks like a anorexic crackhore, would you consider that honest or rude (and no, I don't think that about her) Dana had to deal with comments like that for 20 years so her being just as nasty and mean spirited just is a major putoff for me.

That is something coming from one artist to another and I expect more professionalism, that's all. I didn't like it when tatu said the german singer looks like the candy witch, it's just hurtful to the other party and I just dislike people like that. We may live in a society where some people think it's okay to offend and insult each other but don't make it out to be the truth if it's your opinion.

I guess I just like to believe that people would treat each other like they want to be treated.

You're right. It can't be truth, but it certainly is her opinion. One that quite a few people will agree with, and quite a few won't. She didn't generalize any group of people, she only said what she thought of a few Eurovision participants. And in a sense, she is right in what she is saying, the role of appearance in Eurovision has increased greatly in the years since she was on there, and in her opinion that's why Charlotte didn't place well. What she said might be rude, but it is her opinion, and like I said before anyone who stands up for what they think earns respect for me. I'm sorry you didn't like what she said.

Aside from that, I think the Diva will go with the second version of the song because her team for some reason thinks that clubby is the way to go on Eurovision. Oh well. :p

But it's not clubby!! It just sounds even more cliché Eurovision.

Dana has no class, hence she makes those comments. The fact that it comes 10 years later just shows the behaviour of an annoying gnat who can't let things go.
