Re: יִשְרָאֵל - Israel 2011

Oooh yeah I love that song Yalla!!!! Why not sending them both, that would be great: Michal & Avihu!!

How could you!

Hahahhahaha!!! I'm sorry!

I think you can spell his name in both ways, it depends on which translitaration system you use. It is the same voor Chen/Hen Aharoni. Not every hebrew letter has a roman equivalent and they don't write every vowel in Hebrew. That's my explanation, but don't know for sure if it's correct :p. I'm sure Adir knows the correct answer :D.

It's Israel's turn to spice up the Eurovision stage!

I know the song YALLA from the turkish singer Atiye, who is one of the possible candidates for Turkey2011. The same song is called
in Turkish and means sth. like shake it or let it go . I love Michal Amdursky

The Turkish one is more "badass" and cool.

Will the NF be based on one artist or will it feature a variety?

I prefer the Avihu/Michal version, this one is weaker. The Turkish one is sooo not badass, it's like the children's version of "Yalla"

I wonder who copied who?

Lol would be funny if Israel sends Avihu/Michal who did one version, and Turkey sends Atiye who did another one.. when fans will see what songs these acts released in the past they will find the same song! :)

^ Nah the Israeli one is tamed, Atiye's is quite wild! :D

I think Michal Amdurski tried to go to ESC before for Israel but her song was quite average though that was long ago.

Haha so not! ;) The Israeli one is sexier and more oriental sounding, the Turkish one is more tweenie pop version.

^Oh I was asking about the Israeli NF, is it just one artist or multi-artist, or is that yet to be clarified?

It's not my style, So I don't like both versions

Hope Israel will send rock, they have good bands, but never seen a strong rock entry from Israel before :/

I also prefer the Israeli version!!! They are both hot, when they perform alone, but together it's even hotter!!!

Re: יִשְרָאֵל - Israel 2011

Hello all :) I'm back after some days.
So, Michal Amdursky for me, is without anydoubt a great singer for Israel 2011, as well Avihu Shabat, I adore both of them :)
As for the Kdam, Michal Amdursky took part in 2001 and 2005 ISRAEL NF. Avihu Shabat, he is a new singer still.

Michal Amdurksy has really great songs, she was a jury in Israeli program "Born to Dance".
And for my opinion, she will take part in this year NF preselection.

Another singer that might will go to Kdam, is Amir Fey Guttman, I think he is too for Eurovision:

Another singer I think she will go is Rinat Bar (who took part in Kdam2005):

More singers I guess will go are "Daniela and Sharona Pick" (Their father is the composer of Diva):

That's it :) Goodluck to Israel 2011 a lot!!!

Bring Harel Skaat back! Nah, I'd love to see Maya Buskila represent Israel this year, I think she'd have a good shot at winning.
