YAY, excellent news! I hope this will become a yearly tradition, I'm sure it could rival Melodifestivalen's popularity in Eurovision circles! I'm hoping Hen Aharoni, Harel Moyal, Avihu Shabat and Ivri Lider will all participate!

Time for uptempo Mizrahi pop for Israel or something clubby! I liked Israel's entries the past years, but I'm a little bored with ballads now. The only acceptable would be some ethno ballad.

Oops, my bad! I know a guy named Michal, so I figured you were referring to the singer here. Do you know his name? I wouldn't mind to see HIM in a the Israeli national final, HER not so much.
Edit: got it, it's Avihu, didn't even recognize him here. I'm thinking it's way past my bed time. :?
