in much better news, i absolutely worship the babushki JUST LOOK AT THEM how can you not love them?!?!?! if we are supposed to forget you are a juggernaut bully of a country then this is how you should do it and not with insipid peace ballads nobody gives a shit about. the song is a legit bop and i actually listen to it for real sometimes lol.

hera bjork is my favourite of 2010. flawless schlager banger. she also had the look and the choreo. i understand the staging was a bit lacking for her to get the keiino esque placement she DESERVED but still i wish she was the token dated success of the year instead of that boring ass danish duet nobody even remembers nowadays.

UGHHHHHHH A BOP. Different from Emmy, the song is actually good - so not a guilty pleasure. I know that her vocals are........... differentiated BUT it was still better than almost every entry from that semi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last place was a crime (best last place btw).

Here it is again. The usually #blessed 22nd place, who brought us Miki, Lea, Barei, Andrius, Anggun, Kati Wolf and Sunstroke Project. And 22nd is also the day of my birthday!!!!!!!! july 22nd don't forget xo. Hungary's only female artist this decade, this performance had everything. Lady shouting, random dancers and even a Urahara's hat. Too bad she was in 2011, the horror of it all, and placed this low.
What about her knees indeed.

jestem is boring but i do love the shoutout to differentiated vocals because kati wolf is a gem and started a whole tradition of fan favourites who are not quite kate ryans because they qualify but still bomb hard in the final. VISIONARY.

golden boy is in A+ banger and it's one of the best of the decade for me and its #POWER rubbed off on imri enough for him to give us that iconic semifinal 2 performance. also i had no idea eleni had her own version omg

You all know I'm an old-Bulgaria hardcore stan and i find the new-bulgaria overrated as hell (most about Kostov yes this is a Beautiful Mess hate comment). THAT being said, this song deserved all the praise she got, after she was UNFAIRLY left in the semis in the tragic year of 2011. She overcame the bad result with a BOP. and this gif.

Possibly my biggest surprise of 2018 (and a great one!) qualification wise. I remember when this came out it was right in my top 10 but went down to 26th/27th because IT TOOK SO DAMN LONG TO BE ON SPOTIFY!!!!!!!!!!!! After it was, I played it non-stop for days though and it just skyrocketed to my top 3. Why? It's a uptempo + with PERCUSSION!!!!! + with gorgeous women (and one of them appeared out of nowhere who is she???) + with ex-bbb Caruso + last but not least

This song is iconic enough to take out freaking MOLITVA out of my Serbian top 3. This is HUGE.

If Love Was a Crime is definitely Bulgaria's best entry in that 2016-18 era. Surprised its not higher for you to be honest. Never got the hype for Lovewave tbh and I'm not fond of what Iveta did in 2016 in the above gif you posted.

Ljubomir Dimitrijević (Serbian Einstein) is so iconic he ended up being in a game in the other forum just for his iconic-ness alone. I remember after this won Beovizija there were rumors that he might not be in Lisbon because you can only have 6 people on stage. Thankfully he was there though in the end with Danica, Mladen, and Nevena Stamenković (the main singers) on stage in Portugal.

Great to see KEiiNO in the top 25 . They improved the staging from NMGP after a couple rehearsals. Indeed shout-out to Edu for the backdrop visuals. I was worried to it could do a Verona leading up to rehearsals. Thankfully that wasn't the case.
