Iceland was my winner in 2019 and I could not disagree more about it being more accessible than Doomsday Blue

I feel like people are kind of underestimating the theatrical side of Doomsday Blue potentially making it more accessible to the general audience.

It has sort of a dark Disney villain-esque vibe to it.

The thing with Doomsday Blue is that is has really accessible parts, and then it turns into something else unexpectedly, which to the untrained ear, can come across quite off-putting because it is so sudden.
Iceland 2019 was less accessible throughout the whole song - but therefore, it had a sudden appeal to people.

I sincerely hope Ireland will reach the final with Bambie Thug and I can definitely see it happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it flops as well. Crossing my fingers for :ie:, even though Doomsdag Blue is not my cup of tea at all.

The 2nd rehearsal clip!

The incredible part is you just know this is only the part they want you to see, imagine how good the parts are they are keeping secret!

Anyone who thought this might NQ I would advise dropping those thoughts now :ROFLMAO:

Certainly not something that goes unnoticed, either in a good or in a bad way. Also certainly not a performance that stays in the SF.

Lads I'm just so happy to have something I'm not embarrassed by, it's so nice to have something I actually want to see in the final for the first time since Vienna

Give bambie a statue on Barack Obama plaza
I can definitely relate to that feeling of embarrassment from almost all of the UK entries this century.
Ireland is making the final without a doubt, top 10 minimum. I wasn't sure about jury appeal before, but I'm more confident about it now, televote is in the bag.

So since this rehearsal Ireland's odds on the exchange are now 1.02 & 1.12...

For context that means Ireland is shorter than Finland to Q..

Prepare yourself folks, Ireland is about the FLY up the qualification odds!

I prefer hair and make up from the 2nd rehearsal. I hope she will go with that.
