hold ur neighs, gurlies, there is ONLY ONE Cha Cha Cha derivative in this nf season so far, and it at least achieved the spirit of the original (baby lasagna xheart)

This is nuts. Are all the old dears watching the Late Late Show going to be alright? If Bambie Thug really is going to be here too, I might need to keep an eye out for my poor aunts.

I do love the concept of the song actually - you don't need to know the meaning to enjoy it but it's nice to have a 'fun/crazy' song that has some depth to it.

I don't like Go Tobann at all after 1 listen. Just sounds like a load of noise to me and something I'd never choose to listen to. Can also barely hear the singer.

Having said that, it is something different from previous Irish NFs. Maybe it's time to take a risk with this? I think it'd do better than the Erica Cody song or other bland Irish entries of recent years. There might be an audience at ESC for this sort of thing.

As above, I don't like the song but as Ailsha seems to be a fun character I do think it could be improved with staging and a fun performance. I haven't closed my mind to it yet. Often I enjoy a song more at ESC once I see the full performance.

An interesting few days it's been and will be in Eurosongland.

I'm looking forward to Bambie Thug, as someone who usually likes the more 'chaotic' entries.

The Erica Cody song is just meh, IMO. Again I believe she's a decent performer so could impress the public and jury on the night.

Love use of our language, tin whistles, the fact its mental, calls out how we're shit at our own language and it's rock (think 2009 is our only rock or rock adjacent entry)

But some of the sounds are cheap and the mixing is pretty questionable but that can all be corrected down the line hopefully she's half decent live

Yeah it feels like the sort of thing that could be either awful or great live.no middleground

Honestly for a long while I've hoped for Ireland to send a more modern alternative song sung in Irish and now it's pretty much been served up in front of me.

Could definitely see myself voting for Go Tobann but I'll have to see how Bambie Thug turns out as well.

I feel like possibly having to decide between more than one song to vote for is not something I'm very used to with Eurosong....

Maybe it's my bad danish taste, but "Love Me Like I Do" is a BANGER with THAT key change in the end and all the right retro elements. I cannot wait to see this getting performed live
Call me crazy but it's a no-brainer qualifier Eurovision-wise in my book if the live performance is OK.
