Not qualifying, but at least they could have turned around and said "We gave it our all, but we were in a tough semi and all the votes got sucked up by the top acts". Instead of starting to sink into the "They hate us" line which started to form after the semi.

I've been trying to work out if Wild Youth even attended the final like most of the other NQs.
Cal (the drummer) did according to IG, but not seen the others.

If an act NQs, does their broadcaster typically fund their accommodation if they want to stay for the final?

I'm not sure all do, but Mia and Dion were at the final last night. And I saw Theodor Andrei in Liverpool yesterday.

yes the margin between qualifiers and notqualifiers is pretty clear this year.
