it's so....... not eurovision? what is this #6-in-the-british-charts song doing here? i don't see how it makes people pick up their phones and vote. i mean it's a cute and pleasant song, but unless semi 2 turns out to be like that time 2011 sucked so hard that anna rossinelli advanced because there was NOTHING ELSE i don't see why this was picked. did they see something i am not seeing?

that said, 5 points when we have a poll, it's a nice listen.

This is so amazing and i have to say that i didn't expect that i will love that much Ireland's entry which right now is propably my number 1! I know that chances to qualify are very low but still this is so amazing!

Being optimistic this is probably a borderline qualiefier with juries and bottom 3 with televote in the semi final just like Molly Sterling in 2015

Ireland. :'D I feel like they realised that you don't need to tailor a song specifically for Eurovision as that is how you end up with middle of the road crap everyone doesn't mind but doesn't like enough to vote for it. But... What they've got here, is exactly that. Idk what they had to choose from but I have no idea how they thought this was a great choice of entry. I feel like she is somewhat trying to copy Anne Marie somehow but failing miserably. You tried Ireland, or maybe not... Idk.

This one growing on me even further. It's my 2nd favorite now! (Don't worry, Serhat is very safe)xyes

It's that kind of pop I always expect from the UK and i'm always left disappointed. It's so simple and perfect. I think it could work as a rock song too.

Taylor Swift's "22" found dead in a ditch. (wow, this phrase is catchy)

THE GOOD:
-Overall, this is a solid, sweet-sounding song.
-Her vocals are good and fit the song well.
-It's somewhat memorable.

THE BAD:
-Overall, I'd say that this song lacks a bit of energy, maybe due to its instrumentals.
-It also lacks a clear identity of what it wants to be.

THE VERDICT:
If this song had been taken in a more neo-soul direction, it would have 12 points from me. As it is, though, it's stuck in the middle of either being a neo-soul song or a more simplistic pop song, both of which aren't bad things to be. While I'm thinking about it, it kind of sounds like Colbie Caillat's song "Bubbly". I agree with others in saying that this might barely qualify. 7 points

This makes me so happy. It's the most carefree little Eurovision song ever. I also think that it's deceptively catchy. Like devilishly so actually. After just one listen of it the chorus was in my head as I was making a cup of tea. It's so cute and lovable. I just want to hug it and squeeze it. Sarah seems charming as well. I really like her voice + had fun watching the 3 minute battle of her hair vs the wind in the music video.

I almost want to say 12 points but we can always upgrade. A fab 10 for now. It might not be Samantha Mumba but I'm really pleased with the Irish entry. The last few Internal picks are turning it out.

I really like her voice

Yes, same!! It has this weird, slightly raspy quality to it which adds something the song desperately needs to avoid going too twee. What a great morning for Eurovision entries we've had so far xheat

This is really cute. Something I would listen out of Eurovision. Good job :ie: tbh

This is happy like Denmark, but if that was an actual song and not a mess

This is so sweet! I really really like it  it has such a nice chill air about it but at the same time the melody is really catchy. I’m just a bit doubtful about it’s chances in Tel Aviv unfortunately :(

10pts from me!

I had to scroll back to see if you'd commented yet on it Connor. I knew you'd like it tooxheart Her voice is so you. It might have a tough time but at least we've got a super adorable lil' Irish entry to enjoy this year.

Yes, it's got this perfect balance thing going on which makes it work. Sarah's got soul and a lovely rich tone to her voice. Thinking about it, this is the first Irish entry I've properly loved in years and years.
