I wish we could send this song. I can't see them agreeing to represent us unfortunately.

Joseph McCaul (Ireland 2005) was shown auditioning for The X Factor UK last night!

I thought "Love?" was a pretty good song, and probably should have qualified

So that means Late Late Show in the end, right? Isn't that what they're always saying?

The Corrs would be amazing.
They are at that point of their careers too where a bad Eurovision result wouldn't "harm" them at all.

Maybe Ryan Dolan is going for a second try? I coincidentally found this on Youtube:

It's already less than 3 minutes long...

I remember he was rumoured for the 2015 preselection but he didn't made the final cut, so probably that's the song he sended to RTÉ.

Hmmm no thanks. Austrlaia did that style of song so much better this year so no point in sending a poor imitation. Besides, the songs for the national final never leak beforehand so I doubt that is one of them.

Please just be a rumour. I don't think I could handle Nicky Byrne being our representative.

It seems to be more than just a rumour. Many are saying 90% certainty.

Well, you did have Jedward (twice).
Not to mention Dustin the turkey.
So, I don't think it will be that bad.
