Well if it doesn't work out she can fall back on singing. I hope she does because I like her voice now that it has matured.

I guess, but how many flops can one take before realizing that it may never work out? She was one of those early 00's Pop "Princesses" that I really liked and rooted for and that I thought could have a great future (if she would have played her cards right she could have been the Irish "Rihanna" by now), but something went wrong along the way. I dunno if she's the one to blame solely or her label or other circumstances, because I don't really see why her 2002, supposed to be the lead-single of her scrapped second album, I'm Right Here flopped so badly. I mean it was rather catchy and fit that whole era's R&B-Pop sound:

Oh and she's also a very beautiful lady I must add! She practically had the potential but never went with it.

I suppose anything by Coláiste Lurgan, if that counts. There is this song that I can think of, it's ok like. I was actually thinking of how things would be if TG4 took over from RTÉ for our Eurovision, I can imagine there'd be more of an NF, that'd be something I'd quite like. TG4 are great with cultural things like that and really put their croí agus anam into anything they produce themselves.

I just remembered that the Coronas have sung in Irish before. If the lead singer can do it I'm sure his sister Róisín O could do it as well.

I would like if TG4 had a go of it. It would be very interesting to see.

This was always played in the Gaeltacht, there used to be a CD put out around Seachtain na Gaeilge every year, Ceol 05, Ceol 06, Ceol 07 srl. There's tonnes of Irish version of pop songs on them, like Fairground Attraction's Perfect, Bell X1's Flame (which used to wreck my head), and The Walls' To The Bright And Shining Sun. It's a real pity this was discontinued, afaik.

Now that B*Witched have reunited maybe they would consider doing eurovision. The song they released earlier this year is quite good.

I understand it may not go here, but I can't find a thread suitable for it in the JESC forum.
Anyway we may be entering in 2014 under TG4!! The JESC arouses as much interest in me as a new episode of How I Met Your Mother, but TG4 taking control of something like this would be absolutely amazing!

Reminds me of Friday... Me + some of my friends were in our favorite bar (they usually don´t play ESC-songs there) when they suddenly played "Lipstick" :-)
But although I liked Jedward, imo two times of Eurovision-patrticipation are enough for them.
