I dont think so. It will be 16th in the jury and 9th-12th in the televote,so I think it wont qualify. Its just such a cheesy teeny pop-rock song that we all heard before that I cant see passing the SF at all! They arent even able to do a epic performance with such a boring song as this one!

QwaarJet is quite right, Jedward have such a large fan base that for them to not qualify they would need a totally diabolical song even they wouldn't support. Waterline isn't that type of song so I don't see any reason why Jedward wouldn't be in the final, especially looking at the chart positions on the previous page :)

They shot the Waterline-video in Tokyo last week, so we will see it quite soon.
Can't wait.
And for all you haters out there...get a life.
You don't have to hear or see them if you don't like them:D
If this refers to my comment too,I need to say something.I'm not a hater,I just don't like the song, and I said my opinion. I don't listen to them,I just heard their song for ESC.
However,I wish all the best for Ireland!(: peace.

You know Jedward are only famous in Ireland and the UK right? For example here in Portugal no one ever heard of them (only during the ESC week obviously). Their latest album charted only in the UK and in Ireland and the album they made specially for Europe barely charted anywhere, it just got number 6 in Estonia and thats all. All their songs were a fail at the European charts except for "Lipstick" who still only got top 20 in four european countries (including Ireland)....You really think they are popular outside the islands but they're not really......

Ofcourse they are only famous in the UK and Ireland, nobody's interested in them outside those 2 countries:?
Is that why they have been featured on numerous covers of international magazines.
Besides, they are still charting in the korean charts with Lipstick

The fact that they were 2011's biggest Eurovision success story (Lipstick still charted in more countries than any other entry did) suggests otherwise, not to mention the fact that they got the majority of the press attention in Düsseldorf.

Maybe they haven't become international megastars but there's no denying the name is pretty powerful.

Lipstick charted in 9 countries in continental Europe and nly entered top ten in Estonia in Austria. The singles they released after charted in Ireland and UK only. So they're not that popular, not popular enough to qualify only because of popularity at all, as most of the 9 countries they charted on are in SF2. Besides they're song is so disney and dull that if it qualifies its really bad....they probably wont even be in the televote top ten but if they will they'll be like 9th or 10th.

But they're not only popular in Ireland and UK, which was your original point, as they've at least charted across Europe :p

Exactly.
Which also seems to be the case with Waterline.
Waterline can be downloaded from I-tunes since last night and since then also starts charting around Europe (and outside)
Don't think that there are many ESC-2012 songs which happen to be in the same position as Waterline currently

Edit: waterline is number 1 in Estonia right now:lol:

wow, they're really popular all over the world, I wouldn't have expected that. :p

Still I'm not sure about their success this year though, I'm not convinced they're gonna do better than last year.
