I imagine all jurors will be over 15 so I doubt they can convince any adult to give them many points.

Also X Factor is a total fix, Simon always gets what he wants and kept Jedward in when they should have gotten booted out over Lucie.

If they qualify it will be an achievement but they wont win, this is similar to the sort of songs winning in 2001/2002, but nowadays this won't win.

i hate jedward. they cant sing and have horrible personalities but for some bizarre, inexplicable reason i like this song. its a bit like rebecca black's song 'friday'. its so terrible you cant help but fall in love with it. and its so catchy i end up humming it all day. so for me it definitely is both annoying and catchy! :)

Nice to see that Jedward have been able to inspire the same sort of reactions across Europe as they have in the UK and Ireland

Why people claim, that only Teenager would vote for this song. I`m beyond 40 and grew up in the 80ies with all kind of wild odd music. I quite enjoy it.

How can people say it's the worst song this year? I love it!! It makes me smile :D And I don't think Jedward seem irritating (okay maybe a little, but it's just an act to make themselves memorable, and it works! Same as their hair...)

I can imagine all the over-50-year old moms & dads listening to that song and watching the show for the first time in the final night with all those "wtf?" faces

The more I listen to the song, the more I hate & like it. It's like masochism or something...

Yes they were!

Their mother suffered a lot because of their natural hair style when she gave birth to them!

'I've never lost at Eurovision' -- Louis backs Jedward
Saturday March 19 2011

Was it Westlife suddenly leaving his Syco record label, or crisis meetings for the next series of ITV's X Factor?

The Diary can reveal it was a meeting with Simon Cowell that prevented manager Louis Walsh from attending Boyzone's homecoming show in the O2 on Tuesday night.

"I hated not being there for the lads but I was with Simon in the UK," Louis told The Diary this week.

Or could discussions have been about John and Edward after Jedward were announced this week as performing last in the second semi-final of the Eurovision in Dusseldorf, Germany, on May 12?

Their midas-touch manager is certainly confident about their chances.

"I have never lost at Eurovision," he said.

Yes, Jedward-doubters beware that any time Louis has showed up in Europe during the past 21 years -- Johnny Logan in 1980 and 1987 and Linda Martin in 1992 -- his acts have topped the juries' poll. Not even boyband Blue, representing the UK this year, can mess up his record, Louis reckons.

"Forget it. We always get more votes than the UK. That's why we've won more times."

Louis was keen to point out that his friend Caroline Downey is looking after the 19-year-old twins' Euro bid, with single 'Lipstick' currently number 3 in the Irish singles chart.
