I skip this regularly together with Estonia and Lithuania. I respect the beauty of all these songs and their respective vocalists, but they have all been made on one typical ESC mold and I'm not motivated to support that blandness year after year by voting for any of them.

This song actually sits inside my current top 10! Idk why but I absolutely love it-empowering, and her vocals are amazing!

Absolutely! I was amazed during the NF-I can actually see this qualifying tbh?

I’m surprised at how many people have written this off as an NQ I’m not quite there, definitely believe it can qualify (not comfortably though)

With juries, it would have been a likely outcome for this song. However, as it stands... oop

Yeah I think it'll qualify but perhaps come lower in the Qs?

I'll be shocked if it stays in the semis thats for sure

Power is a bop, for sure. Iceland rounds up a strong year for the Nordic countries, but itself is overshadowed. However, the song is truly basic and Iceland is not at the top of their game.

I remember 2013, which looked like a very strong Nordic year, but Iceland for me personally was the absolute best. Power is not as powerful as "Ég a lif".

I can see where they were going for, and I'd much rather listen to the song that never was. This is good background music, but that's all that it ends up being. It desperately needs more power (huehuehuehue) in the instrumentation, especially with the choruses, which just end up falling flat on the ground, face first. Like a pretty mannequin falling over in the wind. Ehm... Idk. There's so much lost potential here, it's a little sad. The song also never goes anywhere, which is the biggest crime of all if the rest of the song has nothing going for it. Even the last chorus feels pretty much the same as the first one.

Final score: :5: points

The more I listen to it, the more it leans towards a close Q thanks to the end of the entry. I mean, she's bearing nothing but her soul and herself in the last chorus, it's incredibly powerful!

This is one of about 5 songs I always skip.
It does absolutely nothing for me. Verses and chorus is basically the same to me, all I hear is screaming and some nice girl trying to squeeze out the last note out of her. The beat stays the same all the time but the melody goes up and down, it’s a bit stressful to listen to. And if she keeps on dancing like in that NF she has to be careful not to hit the ground; it looks very shaky.

Also, there can only be one Po-po-po this year!

Iceland is the biggest fader for me now, because I loved the song, the hook, so catchy.

but the staging reveals how basic this song is. There is a lack of inspiration and power in Power. The visuals are so generic. Looks like Iceland is not invested this year, but will be better day, will be better slay.

This feels to me like the most forgotten entry of the year, few people in the fandom really talk about it, few either love or hate it.

Even looking at the reply count of all the country specific threads this year, it has the least at 257 replies.

Last year I felt like Montenegro was the most forgotten entry.
