Hera was good! Her song is still a bit bland in parts, and she's nowhere near Hatari's level for me, but she'd at least be much better than Fridrik if things came down to that.

4) Hera Björk - Eitt Andartak
Am I right in thinking Hera Björk has represented Iceland at ESC before? Anyway, I think this was quite a nice ballad, and she's got a good voice. Just one concern, might this sound a tad dated? Probably the best so far.

THAT. WAS. BRILLIANT. Much improved over the semi performance - just little improvements everywhere, from the camera angles to the outfits to the backdrop to the vocals. This had better win and become my first 12 of the year, and probably my #1

This is it! Iceland needs to send this! No further discussion needed! Easily the most interesting and also the catchiest song of the bunch.
Also, not to mention, it seems that Hatari has received the biggest applause of all the contestants.
Iceland, I´m super down for this. Please make the right choice.

5) Hatari - Hatrið Mun Sigra
What was that? Was it an attempt to replicate Finland's Lordi in 2006 (which won)? That sort of thing can fail miserably too, remember Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät which failed to qualify for the final in 2015. I generally don't like that sort of song (heavy / thrash metal) anyway, but quite frankly, I hope that doesn't go to Eurovision. If it's picked, I think it will go the way Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät did in 2015 (fail to reach the final) rather than Lordi in 2006 (score Iceland's first win).
