Forgettable. Has there ever been an entry where this beauty&beast concept was made to work?

Re: ICELAND 2016

Actually the song is good... until the rap starts

That's exactly what I was wondering about...
The girl should pull this guy out of the stage and rip her dress off and... START SINGING IN THE BEST WAY SHE COULD DO!
Indeed, I can feel the vibes of Yohanna's vocals here...

EDIT : The song isn't that bad itself, but... forgettable and so weak.

Why do so many rap songs start like that?! They draw you in and you think "hey, this is good" and then BOOM *mute*!

They know how to lure the people... just a little piano play at the beginning and everybody will watch it

btw, do anybody know the mobil number of the female singer? xheat

I actually........ quite enjoy "Ready To Break Free". Could do without the "OH oh OH, OH oh OH" that arrive during the final chorus. Nothing like a good Oh Oh to pip me off. Otherwise I think I like it, as i'm in a very hip mood at the moment.

Be fair, the others got a little tedious after watching them for the 103479th time... At least we're not having to see as much of the ads here!

If you have such a sudden change of mood then the song must have done its job on you! ;)

I still think we can't count out Á ný. I guess this will also stand a chance to win tonight

it could do well also in Stockholm, however it's not entirely my cup of tea. I just like to see a song in Icelandic in ESC

The core of the song 'A ny' is quite similar to a recipe of a disgusting cake.

A Ny: Barbara Dex candidate, but won't get to Stockholm. Not a bad vocal, but the song isn't strong enough. Interestingly enough this is the one Greta Salome wrote and was going to perform til Raddinar arrived. 5/10

Uh...A Ny might just make a fool of everyone. That was quite a performance. It would be tragically hilarious if Greta was beaten by her own song.

Agree, I still think "Eg A Lif" deserved a much better placing than it got in Malmö 2013
