They got the gay vote, the gray vote, the rock vote and the just plain fun vote. I firmly expect this in the top 10 on Saturday :D

Just like last year Iceland made it against all the odds
7th final participation in a row but still the most underrated ESC country

Edit: okay greta & jonsi underarchieved contrary to the expectations but they just failed with changing the language

I always had this as a qualifier! It's different to anything else in the contest!

Well done Iceland!

I called Iceland as a definite qualifier after their performance. Safe to say the early drawers didnt have good performances, Iceland was the first one to stand out.

It's just funny to call Iceland like this. They're no Ukraine or Russia or Azerbaijan xbored

Well, since Azerbaijan takes part, their qualifying rate is the same than Iceland, for example ;)

Iceland's entry was hands down the best surprise of the night. I had pretty much ignored the song in the whole run up to the contest but that performance was just a feast for the eyes! In this year where far too many people are taking things uber-seriously, I'm so happy that this slice of infectious nonsense got through!! xup

I must apologise dear Pollaponk, I was initially dissapointed with your qualification out of frustration for Latvia. But I'm so happy you made it through regardless xcheer

Yes, it was a weird moment. I love these guys but I was like ".... oh" when their name was called last when in hindsight, I should have been cheering and happy for them. I am very happy for them as a matter of fact.

Brilliant performance and quality song with a message. These guys were fantabulous. Well done Iceland. The top 10 awaits you quite possiblyxyes
