5. Heiða Ólafsdóttir – Við hjartarót mína : Decent performance, shows us that Icelandic is great language, but my 4th place.
My rank is:
1. Íris Hólm – Leyndarmál
2. Gréta Salóme and Jónsi – Mundu eftir mér
3. Blár opal – Stattu upp
4. Heiða Ólafsdóttir – Við hjartarót mína
5. Fatherz’n’sonz – Rýtingur
1st: Íris Hólm – Leyndarmál
-is full of happiness and it's totally cheerful! GREAT song, LOVEIT.
2nd: Gréta Salóme and Jónsi – Mundu eftir mér
-I love the aura of this song. Love the violin too, it's also great to see Jonsi back. It's powerful and chorus is great too! A real art-piece.
3rd: Heiða Ólafsdóttir – Við hjartarót mína
-I love the voice of Heiða. Við hjartarót mína and its melody is also nice but it's bit repititive. I still like it though!
4th: Fatherz’n’sonz – Rýtingur
-'s melody is relaxing. I kinda like vocals too, especially the chorus is so cute. Love the Violins!
5th: Blár opal – Stattu up
-Stattu upp's melody is cute and cheerful. Kinda reminds me of Haba Haba. But, I do not like the rappy parts. Chorus is nice and catchy though.
Well, Stattu Upp is cute, but I didn't really want it to qualify since I loved Iris' song more, it was a masterpiece. But at least my 2nd placers Jonsi & Greta have qualified, but I am still so sorry for Iris, she was the star of the night...
Happy for Greta & Jonsi!
Instead of Blar Opal, Iris or Heiða should have qualified. Both have nice songs.
By the way Heiða's stage performance was very charming. .
Chuffed to see Mundu Eftir Mer make it through, by far the best song I've heard for ESC so far. Blár opal Will probably end up winning the whole thing though, as I don't have much faith in Iceland to make the right choice.
