I'm starting to think KSB won't make the Super Final. Only third in jury voting today and the juries gave more points to Freddie in the semis :?

It's possible as there is tough competition. But I wouldn't focus on that too much. The juries don't really keep their scores the same and there have been instances where they didn't put a song through through any of the heats or Semis and then they put it in the Super Final. Anything is possible.

In addition: The juries said that they don't pay too much attention in the semis, that a song is ESC-compatible or not. They only count this point of view in the Final. I didn't surprise the first semi's results, I think that was a stronger one, than the second semi.

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Oh, 2012s winner for me in Hungary is Heincz Gábor - Learning To Let Go! :) It was so cute. It was a very weak NF, indeed, Compact Disco wasn't too bad, but it wasn't my favourite.

That is my favourite edition. :D Like a Child, Learning to Let Go, Csillagok, Untried, Back in Place... They would all have been better choices than SoOH xheart

Re: HUNGARY 2016

I'm watching Parno Grazst from the 3rd heat again and again, and every time I like it more and more...it's so natural, so spontaneous... they sing far from perfect, actually they make a lot of mistakes while singing, but in this case (it's a rare case) it doesn't bother me at all, it even gives a special flavor to it, because they sing deep from heir hearts and souls...I think this type of entry wouldn't even work with pitch perfect singing..I feel the emotion of Hungarian Gypsies with this performance and song..I feel MELANCHOLY, I feel Hungarian Puszta!!! xlove xheart And why is she crying at one part, can somebody from Hungary explain to me, that crying gives also the special charm! To sum up, this entry is FANTASTIC..it brought tear to my eye :( xcry

YES! FINALLY! Mrm you have no idea how long I've spent trying to get him on the Parno Graszt hype train.

I'm dying to now why she has cried during the performance...but it gave me instant VIBE OF some BRUTAL MELANCHOLY! It wasn't even that type of soft melancholy, but straightforward, REAL one..it took me to Hungarian Gypsy villages in the eastern part of the flat Panonia.. xcry :(

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Slowly boarding the Hungarian hype train as I get more familiar with the songs; I feel like Freddie, Gergo and Kallay are all good enough to propel Hungary back into the top 10, and I'd be happy enough seeing any of them get the ticket (though I've got a slight preference of Freddie > Gergo > Kallay). Considering they're all in with a good chance, I'm hoping to see Hungary back in my personal top for the year!

She started crying when the lyrics were saying
Most a lányomnak mesélek, egyszer megérti-e majd? //
Now I tell tales to my daughter, will she understand it one day?

There was a video interview with them after the show (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jwZLakAJDk) in this she said it's the first time this has happened to her while on stage, and jokingly blamed her godfather, because when they shared a look at that part of the song, she got overwhelmed with emotions. I think it was a cute moment :D At 1:10

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Coming in from the MF stream. How did Freddie do?
He got a great 47 points: 3 10s and a 8 from jury, and an exceptional 9 from the public.
André Vásáry and Parno Graszt are the other jury qualifiers both with 42 points.

We are currently waiting the results of the televoting to find out who'll complete the final line-up
EDIT: And it is Olivér Berkes & Andi Tóth.
I correctly guessed the qualifiers from this semi :D

xheya My favourites just made it?! I missed their performance, but now I can watch them next Saturday!
Looks like Hungary will have one of, if not THE best preselection of the year (once again)

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Pioneer really appealed to me live! At the beginning Who We Are was my big favourite but it's just crap live - sorry András!
