What a huge disappointment !
We were waiting so long, just to learn something that we already knew ?
I expected at least Monaco. Well, they became the new Turkey, each year there is a rumour for their comeback, but they never do.
I know, I know it's a huge success that we have 1 more country next year.
BUT, come on Ebu, why didn't you tell us sooner ?
After this, I strongly believe that I might never watch Eurovision again, I am very pissed off.

As a fan, I'm happy to see no country withdraw.

I'm happy to see Montenegro back (and they're sending a song I even like).

I'm happy that we got more countries taking part than this year...

But I'm also a bit disappointed.. after waiting for so long, I expected or wished for a little surprise.
I mean... all countries have already officially announced that they would be taking part like a month ago.... so why did it take so long for the EBU to announce them?

It's a pity that Romania didn't come back. TVR really trolled us by sending such a chanceless entry in 2023. I don't want this to be their swan song for now :(

Shame on Hungarian and Turkish broadcasters for continuing being homophonic.

Glad that Israel is in despite everything that happened.

One of the things I enjoy the most since 1991 that I watch Eurovision, is the participation list, I am very pleased and happy when new countries debut or some countries return. In other words, I enjoy when the Eurovision family is big, and I dream the day where there will be 46 countries (20 in each Semifinal).
So, you can understand how much upset I am right now.

I get your point but I still think you´re overreacting. The EBU can´t force countries to participate, if they don´t want too for whatever reason we need to accept that. xshrug

I know.
And I am not referring to countries like Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Hungary and Slovakia. They are far away atm.
But what about Monaco ? Each year they are about to return but we never see them. Plus they do have money. What about North Macedonia ? They said that they would think about it. What about Bulgaria ? Last year there was a delegation in Sweden. What about Romania ? Last year they were 50-50, I thought it was only a small break. What about Kosovo ? Until when should they wait to be eligible to participate ? What about Kazakhstan ? They loved Eurovision, they wanted to be part of Eurovision family but EBU don't let them.
And yes I know I overreact, I am a drama queen 👑.
