I am very sorry but this could easily be the weakest :gr: entry in the 21st century. I don't know what happened, but I really hope for something slightly better next year. We know :gr: can do it.

2 points.
I am not sure if the weakest equals the worst, but the worst was Aphrodisiac…
Victor’s song is better.

Next year I want Daphne Lawrence.

Next year will be the 50th anniversary of the Greek participation at Eurovision. We need a bang. Konstantinos Argyros has expressed his interest in representing us. With the proper song he could do really well in the t/v.

(Annoula is too old to rock and roll, sorry, Natalia. )

You are wrong about Annoula, because you haven't seen her recently on stage.
Ageism, and particularly in her case, is pointless...

I only mentioned Daphne Lawrence because she's also a talented artist who I also had the priviledge to hear live, with Anna.
The fact, however, that they collaborated on a song has nothing to do with it.

The whole jury show of semi final 2 leaked, Victor was actually pretty good!
Staging is meh but at least I didnt cringe as much as I was expecting to ( ok, the creepy led during the first chorus aside )

I predicted him to Q, so don’t worry guys because I did predict all 10/10 from S1 correctly! :ROFLMAO:

But honestly, I might be in the minority but I actually prefer Greece qualifying over some other countries.

I heard him sing this at Eurovision Village and I could still barely understand what he was singing, when he sings "Lost souls make sure no one loses their way" it really really really sounds like he is singing lassos, maybe he should have dressed as a cowboy

" light source makes sure no one loses their way "

I always thought it was Lassos until someone corrected me in the misheard lyrics thread.

Imagine Victor's face if they didn't change the X-Factor qualifier announcements style. the fact that they thought it was a good idea to interview each of the remaining countries is just beyond me, especially with a sixteen year old here. The song was never great, and it doesn't work live at all. I think this will come last in the semi.

yeah, the „hoit stoits to oik“ line is also quite remarkable.

Only by accident he could qualify. He is probably going to come between 12th and 14th.

Just back from SF2 afternoon show. I've listened to this at least 4 times now and I still can't hum the tune

Like how I wish Laura of Hooverphonic to return at some point because she deserves to be on the stage, another wish of mine is for Victor to return in the future when he is mature enough to perform properly.
