Again? From another country? WTH is this trend? A borrowing culture?

Let me clean this thread with something properly Greek that people actually listen there. 🤣

He IS Greek. And Danish. Greek-Danish. Born and raised in Denmark.

Next year I'll ask my famous friend if she wants to represent Greece again. She has various styles in her repertoire, lots of songs which you would call "properly Greek" as well, so she knows how to do it.:ROFLMAO:

Actually, he was born in Athens and that's where he's been living for all his life. He has a greek citizenship, his native language is greek, he goes to a greek school, he even uses his greek mom's surname (understandable, her family is one of the country's richest). I don't get why people still think that "he's from Denmark" or even worse that "he's a diaspora greek". But whatever...

As for your friend Annoula, well...she would definitely be our very own Loredana Bertè is she ever decided to participate again.

edit A duet with Yiota Yianna would be great (kidding aside, this song of them is good).

Giota is awesome, but Anna just slays.
I'm sure she won't tell me "no", the second time we met she called me "Natalaki mou" so why would she? :p:ROFLMAO:

Oh, I'm so sorry by the way about the misinformation about Victor!

He’s from Denmark which is funny to me because he looks older than reiley despite being ten years younger
now I have that imagine in my head of reiley and victor battling it out in a Hunger-Games-meats-Drag-Race scenery host by WiWi Blogs to battle out who's the ultimate champion in Twink Wars ESC edition :ROFLMAO:

I'd imagine Victor's a stronger fighter but Reiley's more willing to kill.

Hes very talented and has something special about him. With a great song he could have been even a contender.

Curious to see how they will stage the song, a very hard song to stage, midtempo with weird structure. Fear the song will be too monotonous for televoters anyway tho

So Rigos ( his director ) said that the staging will be too simple, focused all on Victor and it will look like '' they haven't done anything ''

Trying so hard for that 3rd non qualification lol

I low-key hate that Rigos.
I want his job.

"But you didn't do anything.."
"Nah, you don't understand it pleb, it just looks like I didn't do anything."

Is there, however, anything that could be done here? The song is simple, so the staging should be kept simple. That's my humble opinion.

Translation:
Male Journalist (Sergoulopoulos): Is there a central idea as to what is going to happen on stage?
Rigos: Well, he is the central idea. Everything is based on him, on his face, his personality, his moves... this is the main clue and...
Male Journalist: Are you going to make him dance?
Rigos: No, he doesn't exactly dance, but there is a lot of movement in what he does, a lot of action.
Female Journalist (Melita): His energy...
Rigos: His energy, yeah.... there is a main idea, an idea that determines it, but I don't want to disclose it just yet.
(all of them talking at once, blah, blah, blah...)
Rigos: Well, I wanted something... there is an element that refers to Greece, to us, to what we are, but it's so discreet and minimalist... because all his performance is simple, looks like we haven't done anything. But we have actually done a lot, there are so many details as to what he does on stage, but at the same time I want it to look very natural, like he's doing it for the first time, like improvisation.

One of the least talked about entries this year, it seems. I haven't seen much discourse around Cyprus either.
