Short Reminder that Paenda got the same Pimpslot from the first Half and broke lots of Worldrecords.

Good thing Greece starts off with almost 30 certain points from Cyprus, Albania and Denmark ( Victor's half danish ), and Armenia, San Marino, Romania and Georgia all very Greece-friendly in the tele. Of course the entry is weak, thats why the slot is a gift, he stands a pretty good chance now.
And come on its weak but not Limits-Paenda weak, there are actually elements in the entry that can appeal to televoters in a semi like this, like Victor's voice and that hes so young. The song is tele-indifferent but he is tele-friendly enough I think, well at least more than Paenda lol

Well..12th/17 cant be called friendly Voting. These were probably Austrians living in the Border-Area. Compare Austrias Votingpower to f.e. Montenegros Votingpower, then you should notice what real Votingpower is.....

You clearly can if 17 out of 20 countries placed :at: last or second to last in a very competitive semi final - whilst their neighbours speaking the same language (:de: and :ch:) placed them significantly higher.

Same could be said about :at: and :ch: awarding :2: pts each to Malik Harris (whilst the rest of Europe and Australia completely snubbed it [bar Estonia] or :ch: being the only country giving points to Levina... or :at: and :ch: being the only countries giving points to Jamie-Lee.

Of course, it´s not a :gr: <----> :cy: - or former Yugoslavian scenario but it´s still "some [undeserved]" friendly voting for neighbours which also exists here in Central Europe.

Greece will sail through the semifinals, and fans might be shocked to learn, that Greece could actually win their semi. It's a song for Joe and Jane Doe on the main street, a pedestrian guitar soft rock/pop always gets them snap their fingers, whip their hips and flip their hair or mustaches.

And Greece has the power of allies like no other country. 12's coming from Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, Albania, high marks from Romania, Denmark, based on affiliation.

I am kinda into this song now as well, and I would give 7 to 8 points.

I think it may get enough neighbour and diaspora votes to scrape it over the line in SF2. And a large number of fans will be annoyed (I don't really care personally, I just know this song isn't popular generally with the fandom)

Hopefully this AND Poland will qualify and the fandom will be in shambles ❤😄

Yeah, he is lucky to be in SF2. The song isn't bad but idk. I can't stand his voice and to me it just sounds inauthentic. There are worse songs tho especially in that SF.

What do you mean? That I will be in shambles if Victor and Blanca qualify?
Or that Greece will make it through but not Poland?
The second. Greece will make it, we sadly won't.

I really think she definitely stands a chance in a 100% tele semi. I can see more televoters go for a catchy pop song like Solo than for Denmark, Lithuania or even Estonia.

I'm not a huge fan of this song, but for something that he wrote at the age of 14, it's pretty decent and mature. I'm a songwriter, and the stuff I was writing at 18 and 19 was definitely worse than what this actual child has written. So although What They Say isn't much to write home about, I think he has a bright future in songwriting if he keeps challenging himself!

(Was that patronizing? If so, I guess I'm sorry...)

The song may not be my favourite greek entry, but I really believe Victor is going to rock it live and perform the heck out of it. He seems so passionate and confident! I also have a good feeling about the staging.
This can be the entry that no one pays attention to but catches everyone by surprise live on stage.

What They Say is my number 1 this year (at the moment, it might change in the future) but i absolutely adore this song, it has the ballad quality and the upbeat tempo so that its not too "boring", his voice is amazing and i really like the lyrics too. I also think this will be magical on stage and people will change their minds about it. I know it won't win but i can see this being on the left side of the board.
