Okay, this is super embarrassing but I listened to the wrong song when judging it....For some reason I clicked on Kosta's video and was pleasantly surprised only to find out that was the wrong one. I've been wondering why it was called "Rise Up". Oh dear, unfortunately I have to change my vote cause I don't really care for this song....Bummer.....

It's sad that we can't recognise any Greece from this song :( But the song itself is great.

Ah right, so I wasn't so crazy when I thought you wouldn't like it then?

The live version is simply atrocious... they'll need to work on that otherwise it'll end up sounding awful in Copenhagen. I quite like the studio version...

Ugh, I'm so disappointed, I was worried that Freaky Fortune would win but always hoped they wouldn't...
Apart from the intro everything about this is just so annoying, in my opinion one of the worst Greek entries ever, and my new last place in this year's ranking...
Greece, WHY?

0 Points from me

Well, Rise Up is a decent song, but after the first listen, I remembered rise up, riseup, ri-ri-ri-ri-se up phrase and nice background music, typical for Greece. Although, I think this song is a grower. I'll give it 8 points, and that's a big credit.

Too cheap for me. We have one more cr*p song, one of the worst this year. I can't any sense of choosing entries like this because Hip-Hop\rap style of music have never been popular on ESC . And there are so many uptempo similar songs this year. :(

Martakis is a really nice guy, after all. In an interview after the final he wished good luck to FF, he said the song is very good and we must all support it and when they asked him if he was disappointed that missed the ticket for the second time he said no and that he will try a 3rd time, a 4th time and however long it takes.
I hope he will go to eurovision eventually :)

I had only listened to the song written by Elias(?) from Koza Mostra and that was nice! This...xfacepalm I only like the musical bits with the trumpets.

According to Star Channel, Rise Up was first both with juries and televoting. FF got 48% from televoting and Martakis was second with 23%.

So, Greece should send only songs with bouzouki and in Greek?

I do recognize it as a representative of a huge part of today's Greek music industry... xshrug

Where were these many nice songs? Have you listened to a different NF? xrofl2

There was only another good song (Krystallia's song) and IMO it wasn't as strong as this.
