I really feel like Turkish Cypriots are discriminated against in the Eurovision, so this has to come to an end. Neighbour voting always sucks, but in this case it even sucks more. Greece takes advantage of this.

u know that there was a solution to solve the problem presented by Annan by the United nations the turkish part agreed on this contract while the greek refused to make any step and try not to solve the problem by 75% with a NO...i also was blaming Turkey for still holding his soldiers on the island
but NOW i am blaming the greek part to for not making any step forward and refusing any kind of solutions

europe promissed turkish cypriots to become european member if the accept the Contract what they did...u know what happened???? Europe let them alone bythemsels and did NOTHING

^Ok... This is a song contest and not a political thread. Turkish soldiers will go away and leave Cyprus by themselves..

believe me they had to leave the island if the greek were clever enough & would have accepted UN solution...now u have big NOTHING in your hand..keep on going like this:rolleyes:

eurovision should consider that not the WHOLE island is voting...thats not fair at all..have some empathty at least for the turkish cypriots brothers come on

We were clever enough, that's why we refused that anthellenic Anan plan. And when i say that the turkish army will go away and leave Cyprus by themselves, i don't mean that ;) we STOP it HERE. :)

Excuse me, but who gave Turkey 8 points in 2003, points that without them Turkey wouldn't win that year? The country that you "will never see giving a single point turkey whether turkey sends a good song or a bad song" as you said... When Turkey gave them back? They gave us 1 point in 2004, and 4 points in the SF in 2008. And many Turks said we have chances to take points from Turkey this year, and I strongly believe that... End of political discussion!

hah i knew that ur going to mention these 8 points in 2003
....but i hope u remeber what 2003 happend in cyprus??..borders opened etc..this points were points of hope points of CHANGE that something new will come, whats more important is what happend before 2003 and after 2003:).. I can tell u: countless ZEROS before and after ...now please dont tell me u voted fairly :rolleyes: ..but actually its not ur fault.Eurovision shouldnt have allowed u to vote till the problem is solved...if the whole island COULD vote the discussion would end and i believe it will on day i hope u agree on that. lets end this discussion

We have to apologize that Turkey occupied the Northern Part of our island, so we are not allowed to participate anywhere as a nation? :shock:

I saw a youtube-documentation yesterday on Cyprus, which says that it was the Greek Cypriots who rejected the Annan-Plan. Everyone else was for the plan: EU, USA, UN, Turkey, Turkish Cypriots and even Greece.... Switzerland even has a trilingual country.

So, get back together and let Turkish Cypriots vote!

Oh yes, the first and most important thing that we have to fix in our country is "letting" the Turkish Cypriots vote in Eurovision... Which in effect is not us that don't allow them, it's them that they don't want. They don't recognize the Cyprus republic to have any authority in them, they have their own de facto state that is only recognized by Turkey...

And do you know what that Annan Plan was suggesting, and now you talk? It was giving authority to Turkey to invade any time, you wanted us to accept it just to say "we accepted it" and then after 2-3 years to have Turkish army back? How pathetic and ignorant...

I'm sorry for some people who doesn't know the real truth about this. ''Even Greece''...some of our goverment politicians voted for this plan, so Greece DIDNT WANT THAT.As CypriotGirl said, this plan would be the death of Cyprus giving the Turks the opportunity to invade the whole island, so if some of you doesn't know the truth, don't do comments, because is indeed pathetic :)
