Agree with you, but we can compare it, because (you must agree with this) Serbian entries are much more art than songs from Greece. And if we compare Greece and Cyprus I'll vote for Cyprus cause they are different every year (your last year song totally deserve final in my opinion).

LOL, art? According to whom? Although I like Serbian entries most of the times, I'd kill myself if all the songs of ESC were all "artistic" like that... ESC needs all kinds of songs. Greece provides that kind of songs, and it's successful with it. Why change it? And I laugh when people still remember Christos Mylordou from last year, while in Cyprus nobody remembers even his name... He came 18th in the SF, the worst result ever for Cyprus in ESC history, ok the song wasn't bad, but him, he was the most untalented guy with zero star quality and zero passion who just stand there and sang... Totally deserved to stay in the SF in my opinion!

This totally sounds like Watch my dance, OPA! or This is our night, yay. Truely a wonder EBU did not qualify all of them them for plagiasm.:?

I was positively surprised by their vocal performance but the stage show was too uninspiring considering what Greece normally does. I still do not see this doing a Top10 finish.

What this has to do with Watch my dance and This is our night? LOL! This is our night was a dance song with no ethnic elements, Watch my dance was a hip hop & zeibekiko folk ballad.... If you said Shake it, Secret Combination, Yassou Maria, Opa and My Number One, yes, but Watch my dance? This is our night? :?

Deserve one of the last places...

Every year it's the same song with the same singer and the same choreographie - they only call it different...

I believe that last year Greece sent a different kind of song than usual.

He was sarcastic, since someone else wrote all Greek entries were same, so he was like that.
Greek entries aren't same. And even if they are, why would they change the style if they finished well most of the time?

Eleftheria was on a morning show on ATV (one of the most popular private channels in Azerbaijan) promoting the Greek entry. Looks like they had fun!

OMG, that is my prediction (see the prediction thread)!

Btw, interesting fact:
The last time that Greece performed 16th was in 2006 with Anna Vissi, and came 9th!
The last time that Cyprus performed 8th was in 1982 with Anna Vissi, and came 5th!

Anna Vissi is backing them both!

Actually I think that only counting the Greek vote of Cyprus and leaving out the Turkish vote, is very unfair. Cyprus should vote as one country, and not as a part of Greece. Otherwise it should not be allowed to participate.

If there were only Greeks living on Cyprus, this country wouldn't exist but be incorporated by Greece.

btw. I kinda like this year's song though ;)

Excuse me? Say this to Turkish army... :?

We didn't tell them to block our telecommunications there and not to have the same telecommunications with us so to be able to vote as part of Cyprus...

You don't need to share the same communication systems, and still could let the Turkish people of Cyprus participate in the voting by counting their votes as well1

The same can be said about other countries. I mean how is San Marino not Italy then? And some would even argue that Austria would be a part of Germany then.

Cyprus is occupied by Turkey, I will add no more to that really.

With what authority? They don't give us that authority, I think you don't know anything about the situation here... :?

even if the turkish cypriots are not allowed to vote( eventhough i think this problem should be solved..because this is obviously NOT representing the WHOLE islands votes..otherwise cyprus shouldnt vote) i think i will never see cyprus giving a single point turkey whether turkey sends a good song or a bad song...i think u should let ur political stubborness behind and just vote for the music please...i mean its such a jocke we share the same music taste and turkey gives every year greece min 6-10 point whereas the other side would die and not give any points..

CypriotGirl, I am very interested in this topic, please feel invited to tell me more about it.

A-lister, Germany and Austria have really little in common in historical terms. No common heritage, just a same language. We've been together in the German Reich, but that was a completely different story which could have included the rest of Europe as well.

Eliftheria has a lot of fans in Azerbaijan! Everybody is talking about her, how beautiful she is and how they love her style :) Not to mention TV is airing her song all the time.

Good luck Greece! :p
