Eleftheria, from yesterday's talk show OLA 12

The video:

Furthermore, an interesting "dark" version of Eleftheria, singing "No one".

In the last few days, I often listened to "Killer be" from Cassiopeia in the Greece NF - and it gets better and better :-)
But Aphrodisiac was still a good choice.

Well, I'm dissapointed. What a simple, cheesy song. Greece always choose catchy, nice songs but this year they didn't, sorry. After songs like Yassou Maria, Watch my dance and Opa this song is not on Top 15 for me.

probably the best of the 3 songs that go ohoh oh oh oh oh oh
(Sweden, S&M) being the other 2.

So, I got the EP Eurovision 2012 Greek Songs Nominees in iTunes quality and "Aphrodisiac" sounds great in HQ. I like it more now. xup

It's not my taste, but I have to say it's very catchy. I have listened to it a few hours ago and I can still remember it, even though I have listened to many other songs in the meanwhile. Not bad, so it gets 6 points from me.

Last year people also said Greece was going to flop (and even came 3rd in televoting), and the previous one.....

Some people think Greece will be punished by the juries because "they are sending similar stuff". Neither public or juries are usually esc fans and so, they don't have to remember the previous entries. They will vote for the song and that's all.

Also, if Dum-Tek-Tek could come top-10 for the juries with one of the worst performances ever in ESC, I don't see why not Aphrodisiac, especially being this year less strong than 2009. Of course this will be higher in televoting than juries, but I don't see a big punishment...

I like neither Düm Tek Tek nor Aphrodisiac. But to say that one of these songs is worst in Esc history is ridiculous.

Intro of Aphrodisiac is interesting. And parts of Düm Tek Tek are very interesting as well. Both are better than Georgia 2012 for example.

Nevertheless, I must admit that both songs are very weak for my taste. Moreover, both are very inconsistent. Made only to get points.

^It's not made only to get points. Just admit that THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THIS KIND OF MUSIC! Not everyone likes sophisticated ballads with poetry lyrics! I hate when they categorize songs in "quality" and "not quality"! Especially when they consider all songs of a specific genre/style as low quality! For me, this is hypocrisy! Can't you say "it's not my cup of tea" instead??? :?

Just to mention again, I'm not defending the Greek song only, but I'm speaking generally. I personally hate Aphrodisiac with passion! But this genre is one of my favorites, I just hate Aphrodisiac for the slutty lyrics.
