What an amount of crap. So if you sing a catchy song in this style you're immediately a cheesy entertainer no matter how good you really are. That's just ridiculous.

Well, yeah. When u're a cheesy entertainer (that's how good it is to me) then it is cheesy. I don't get what your objection is about.
Everyone to their own taste.
Bye.

I quite like it actually. Funny, 'cause I watched all the songs before the final and thought they were trash.

Maybe it's the shopping centre. They should take that set to Baku.

I like it. As always Greece sends good songs! :D You haven't failed me since 2003. To be honest though, I do wish Cyprus to end higher, because the Cypriot entry is better and they did try hard this year.
Anyway, "Aphrodisiac" is great. I'm happy that you chose it and will probably be in my top10. Well done! :)

Eurovision said:
Eleftheria Eleftheriou to represent Greece

Eleftheria Eleftheriou with the song Aphrodisiac is the choice of Greece to represent them in this year's Eurovision Song Contest. The song won the national selection programme Ellinikos Telikos 2012 and the winner was decided by a 50/50 mix of televoting and a jury.

Tonight from the River West department store in Athens, the Greek national final, Ellinikos Telikos 2012 was staged.

The programme was introduced by Maria Kozakou and Giorgos Frantzeskakis.

Loucas Yiorkas the Greek representative in the 2011 edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show performed his song Watch My Dance at the start of the show.

The four songs in the contest, were presented in the following order, and the winner was determined by a 50/50 mix of televoting and a jury. (Winner in bold).

Baby I'm Yours sung by Dora

Killer Bee sung by Cassiopeia

No Parking sung by Velvet Fire

Aphrodisiac sung by Eleftheria Eleftheriou

The winning song Aphrodisiac is composed by Dimitris Stassos, Mikaela Stenström and Dajana Lööf.

Special guests on tonight's show included several 2012 entrants, they were Ivi Adamou from Cyprus, Sofia Marinova from Bulgaria and Anggun from France. There were also performances from two new and talented artists, Giorgos Sabanis and Christos P from Universal Music.

There were also video greetings and messages from various other 2012 entrants during the show, including Nina Zilli from Italy, Gatiana from Ukraine and Željko Joksimović from Serbia.

Greece will participate in the First Semi-Final in Baku on the 22nd May.

Eurovision.tv would like to apologise for the problems with the webstream on our WebTV Player on tonight's show. This was due to circumstances beyond our control.

It's a clear 12 points for me. It's funny how some years ago some people bashed Greece because Sakis' song didn't have Greek elements and now many people complaining because it's the same formula bla,bla,bla...
And also many people ask for ethnic and particular elements from many countries, but they criticize when it comes to Greece.

Please, a little bit of coherence ;)

Lol.
Just had it on my headphones.
It literally was over before it even started.
I didn't notice the music was there.
It's the perfect unobtrusive background music for me.
Well done Greece!

I read a lot of comments saying Greece and Cyprus will cancel each other out. I don't think Cyprus and Greece will cancel each other out, I believe they will both create their own niche. The songs are not even as similar as some people make them out to be. We know the general direction Greece will go with their stage show, now we have to wait to see what Cyprus will come up with. I hope they will not repeat their mistakes, their stage shows always fall flat dooming the songs IMO. Hopefully with Sony behind Cyprus this year, things will go much better. I do find it funny though that Greece will be going with "oh oh oh oh" and Cyprus with "la la la la".

EXACTLY. Whatever Greece decides there will always be complaints since everyone wants something different. And of course there is always the case of people who do not like anything from Greece. What can I say? Haters will be haters. ;)

She's STUNNING. The hottest contestant this year without a doubt.

Good dance track too. I know people who regularly follow ESC aren't usually into this type of music, but I like it. First time in a while that I'm liking Greece and will be happy when it ends up somewhere in the Top 5 (or 10).

With all due respect, this song is more of the same seen in previous years: beautiful girl surrounded by a group of good-looking guys, typical choreography and music... and violà, I've got a déjà vu...

I think we can all agree with that!! I believe that will play a factor in Baku to be honest. She comes across great on camera and is very photogenic.

^Without a doubt. She's beautiful but doesn't come off slutty (like say Loboda). She comes off very charming and cute.

Were you responding to me or just making a general statement? If it's the first, we've actually not see a 'beautiful girl surrounded by a group of good-looking guys' in at least three years from Greece. I didn't like either one of those. I also really disliked Kalomira with her secret combination.

Unfortunantly you may be right, I don't think good looks should be such a important factor, but it's proven that it apparently is to some.
