Hi! I'm writing a paper about Croatian/Serbian/Bosnian grammar and I have a small question.
As far as I know (and please correct me if I misunderstand anything), direct object pronouns, indirect object pronouns and reflexive pronouns (along with je and unaccented forms of jesam) occur in the second position in a phrase usually.
So, it seems to me to translate "I love you" one would have to say "volim te", and here is where my question comes in, would I be able to say the same meaning and have ti before volim if I add a preposition like da before ti as in "da te volim", or does this have a completely different meaning? Also, if this is a grammatical way of saying the same thing as "volim te", would I be able to use the "da te *insert verb here*" format with other transitive verbs such as vidjeti?
