Since we switch from RTL to ARD and the audience is a completely different one, I am just simply HOPING that the older audience will vote for Moss. Just a small hope, but that is all we have left for now. Who knows? We have seen so many things happening and I hope that just like some other years the act with the largest fanbase won't win.

I doubt the age of the viewers makes much of a difference. If anything, switching to ARD might mean less viewers, which will be an advantage for Feuerschwanz, because their fanbase will tune in anyway and make up a bigger part of the voting Population.

And it's not just the size of their fanbase - it's also the dedication. Lord of the lost had 214.375 votes in 2023, that's nearly as much as Isaak and Max in 2024 combined (they had 110.116 and 107.072 respectively).

Now some people might say that was due to "Anti-Ikke" voting, and sure, maybe to some degree. But that was a bubble phenomen, and the bubble also supported Ryk last year for the most part - and that did not make him come close to LOTL numbers.

As someone "in the scene": IMO the biggest factor was really only Power voting and the Support from the metal scene as a whole. LOTL Fans from outside Germany had german Fans send them SIM cards, german Fans brought additional SIM cards (and I do not mean 1 or 2, but like, 20), Fans from other Bands voted for LOTL because they belonged to the metal scene (including people who do not care for LOTL or Eurovision). Feuerschwanz might very well get the same treatment, and than I doubt any "appeal to the Mamas in the audience" charme Can make up for it.

And honestly, regarding Moss' chances - we do have Slovenia and Italy, and Italy auto-qualifies too. There is also still a high chance of Josh winning in Portugal, and Czechias entry is ballad-y as well (Though we will need to see how much exactly). And Josh or Adonks *really* do not need to hide behind Moss vocally (I'd argue they are both better). So I'm really not sure how much he will Stick out. He'd still get some jury points, but it might not be Isaak-Level tbh.

I can't see us getting any success in May. Moss might be winning over the juries (if other countries don't submit any jury-friendly songs) but he would miserably flop with the public.

You make it sound like that's nothing but I think that's the only way how Germany and Raab lol can get away semi-unscathed.
I don't know whether he can completely match Isaak's jury score but I see 50-60 points the floor for this with the juries, with potential for more depending on staging, competition, concentration of jury points, running order, feel of the moment... And maybe 10-20 public points depending on German people in Austria, Switzerland (if they do the lead-in show in all three countries again) + potential Israel vote again? This might result in a 13-15ish placement which isn't amazing but not that far from Raab's worst and still better than most NDR results since 2015 lol.

Feuerschwanz has theoretical televote appeal but I feel like competition on that side is just infinitely stronger, and therefore there's more LOTL flop potential.

Agree on your Baller assessment.

Why Raab really wants Moss Kena to Eurovision? It's because he slept with him? Hopefully the Germans have taste and vote for Feuerschwanz instead.

The sound mixing was horrible. It is not the videos' fault.

I don't understand the negativ reactions about our NF, it's like every year the same.
In my eyes, our NF is one of the best this year, you can all hate me for this words.
We definetly dont hate you!

Funnily enough, I had the exact same thought, the song would fit Julika like a glove considering she loves her horror movies or whatever that was  Or heck, have them join June, I think the nerves got to her, she kinda stabilised herself and sang with more confidence when her background dancers joined her for that short dance stint towards the end.

"If Jesus saw what we did last night" sang by Moss Kena would have been very interesting. His voice is so great, vocally he for sure could have managed, though he might have had problems with presenting it convincingly.

Knightclub is just a typical song ARD televoters like. If they dont win then maybe Lyza. The question is how much Stefan Raab will try to influence the audience. I guess he wants Moss Kena to win. But I think Moss does not click with the audience.

I think the only the only competition to Feuerschwanz are Abor and Tynna (maybe also Lyza?):

From A & T I would wish that they:

include the cello more to create a harmonious atmosphere
to improve the vocals
and to put more power into "Baller", it is too tame

Then it cold be a fantastic package afterall.

I love Abor & Tynna but I dont believe that they have chances to go to Basel for Germany.
They chose the wrong song (It might be Stefan Raabs fault) or at least they should have worked on the song.
Tynna cant show her wonderful voice in that song.
The problem is that it is an unusual package of a singer and a producer. Abor is a very nice and cute guy and for sure a good musician but he is completely irrelevant on that stage. people dont understand why this is a duo.
I dont belive that German televoters vote for such a song. It will be Feuerschwanz or Lyza instead in my eyes.
For A & T it is a great opportunity to widen their fanbase, I think they will have a great future even without ESC.

In my opinion, if Germany chooses Moss Kena, it is guaranteed to be Top 10. The question is "will the German public let him win"? I fear that we will fall into the usual radio-friendly choice or in the case of Sir Lancelot's brothers with electric guitars in their hands.

As latent homophobic as Raab is, I think we can rule out this question.
