I'd be fine with showing Michelle after the performance, but during it gives me "cheap gimmick" vibes.
It's also the overall picture of Marie just not being good in terms of singing or performance, but having the most PR overall of all entries (she has the most TV appearances and everything too). That just really gives nepo baby in the worst way. I wouldn't hold that against artists per se - look at Angelina Mango for example. She sang a song of her famous dad and that 100% gave her plus points. But she's also a great singer, a really great performer, and has a cool song. So so be it. But when it just really feels like the famous parents are the only selling point, then I really don't like it. To be frank, I doubt Marie would be in this VE without her parents, bcs she wouldn't have a career without them.

So yeah, I hope it's as you say, and that camera cut to Michelle just doesn't happen. As for the outfit: I'd love it if she wore a short Red dress under it or something completely nude. Because the dress itself is fine IMO. But the visible underwear... it really just looks cheap and tacky "xD
Absolutely agree. For me it simply gives the impression that she wants to distract from her disability to sing and perform. I think she will win the televote, but I hope that the Juries will tank her.

If the hype around Ryk goes beyond the eurovision fan bubble, then i don't see any challenger for him. I take his victory in the jury vote as granted already with Bodine just behind. The televote remains without clear answer. Can Bodine beat Ryk at the televote ? or we have another surprise ? I think this NF is more open that what we think. Last year Will Church who won the jury vote by quite a margin, only ended 5th at the televote so it could also happen to Bodine or Ryk.

I still think, and have always said, that Bodine will surprise us. But I'm joining Team Ryk. I would like to see a Germany that is not only more competitive but its fans happier with their singer xup

To be honest, I'm totally perplexed that Ryk is the reason Germany made it to #9 in the odds, but then I have often been surprised at what does well in Eurovision...

I'm still expecting a shocking-not so shocking NF loss for him. And Isaak could be a dark horse I think, depending on who's still awake at the end of the night. He could be someone the ARD audience likes, like Mael & Jonas in 2022. His running order might work against him though. But possibly Top 3 in both votes.

Don't think it's up for debate Ryk is far and away the entry with the greatest potential to do well at ESC. Germany fans seem caught up on the fact it came last last year but this is a different year and a classy entry, so all the pessimism is misplaced. Nations can go from top of leaderboard to bottom of leaderboard in one year. Look at UK for evidence of this. It's down to Germany to have the sense to select Oh Boy.

I mean we don't have many jurypleasers and being Top 5 with the jury will be enough to give us a Top 10 finish. Basically like Estonia last year and I don't think that's impossible for Ryk. It's definitely likely based on past voting patterns.

Apparently there was a leak that among the international Juries there are Alvaro Soler, Luca Hänni, Lina Hedlund von Alcazar, Katrina & The Waves und Cesar Sampson. People assume that this could be bad for Ryk. For eample Luca, Alvaro and Cesar are signed to Universal - just like Max.

They only announce the votes, but there are certainly much more people involved in the jury voting decision. I don't think this will have any negative impact for Ryk. Again, the question at the moment is not about Ryk winning or not the juries. It's almost granted he will win this part of the vote because this has everything ingredient of a jury pleaser. The question to ask is the televote.

I don't want to make too much out of the juries yet, we'll see tomorrow how it'll go. But Cesar Sampson... really just needs to get lost. Does Austria not have any other living people anymore?

International juries need to go anyway. Get german music people from diverse fields, not tied to any of the artists, and use them. That is it. Or do public vote 100%, even though given the German audience that might be a disaster too. At least that's better on principal.

At this point I still think it's super open, as I can't really predict Jury or tele vote. From everything we've seen, I suspect Ryk, Isaak, Bodine, Max & Leona will be the better 5 with juries. But inbetween them... no idea. Max shouldn't be top 3 IMO, not with that shitty song and basically no staging. But juries can be dumb. Also no idea about the televote. Max and Marie might get name recognition bonus. But Max also doesn't seem to have much of a fan base, and Marie... can't sing or perform. All others are a question mark, it might depend a lot on how everything looks on TV. That killed Anica last year IMO. This would be exciting if the danger of sending Mutzkes snoozefest wasn't so big lol

I mean if Ryk can deliver live and if the staging is powerful :de: can actually have the relevant impact on this year's results the odds suggest. Those are two very big Ifs though.

The song is very anthemic and could stand out between a lot of fun songs.

I think Marie is out no matter if she wins the televote as I think she will be very low with the Juries. Right now I think it will be between Ryk, Isaak and Max (and maybe Bodine). Hoping for Ryk, but could live with Isaac and Bodine. But please avoid Max. Along with Floryan, Max has the most boring song.

I don't think Max or Isaak have any serious winning chance. It's between Ryk (80%) and Bodine (20%).
