But actually in the poll on eurovisionworld Max is still the last.Tbh I find this hilarious. When the original 8 were revealed, I saw so many people joke "Forever strong is my #9, whatever gets added as the 9th song has got to be better". Now "Scars" is actually rated worse then "Forever Strong" on eurivisionworld and in the scoreboard app! Expectation, eh, outperformed!
If Floryan wins our NF, the other countries should disqualify us out of pity lmao
u could be totally right here with the jury vote, but i expect EVERYTHING when it comes to germany tbh i've been surprised here too many timesI think Marie will battle for last jury place though... just like Ikke or Voxxclub, international juries don't seem to be here for Schlager.
Jury top 3: Ryk, Max, Bodine/Isaak
Televote top 3: Max, Marie, Galant/Ryk(depending on whether the bubble really stands united behind Ryk, I'm not sure of that myself, he's not getting my vote for example)
something like that I guess
For people who want to relisten to the 9th song:
Thus, I don't think it's safe to say that Marie Reim will finish last in their voting - unlike some entries in our NF, it got a "catchy" hook at least.
I hope your cold didn't get worse now.Just listened to it. What the hell is that?? A howling tutorial?? I just lost three minutes of my life while listening to this boring piece of nothing.

As German fans, we somehow perceive German Schlager as some sort of "inferior" genre and Schlager songs of "poor quality" but honestly, are they really worse than what KEiiNO and "My A.I." represented in this year?
Even "My A.I." - a dated bubblegum song with a Schlager-ish chorus accompanied by an average vocal performance - finished Top 5 in the international jury voting.
Of course, "Damdigga" was more engaging and entertaining than "Naiv" but "objectively speaking" (if it's even possible), is "Damdigga" worthy to be #1 in the jury voting? - It was a bland, generic pop entry.
Juries are people as well and often they vote for generic, bland English pop songs as well - Thus, I don't think it's safe to say that Marie Reim will finish last in their voting - unlike some entries in our NF, it got a "catchy" hook at least.
Yes.are they really worse than what KEiiNO and "My A.I." represented in this year?
I don't think age is any excuse, there are 10 year olds that can sing. So a 23 year old should be able to hold a note while walking around the stage, when that's her fulltime job. And it's kinda pathetic, since schlager is specifically made for weak vocalists. You are meant to sing along to schlagersongs when you are drunk. I would get it, if "Naiv" was like really a demanding song vocally but it isn't.I don't expect Marie to be able to deliver that (yet - it's easy to forget, but she's still young too)

The only kind of schlager song I would ever embrace as the german entry would be one like this:
I really can't stand schlager songs like "Naiv" that take themselves so serious. Like girl, there's nothing sexy or romantic about that genre. So I really hope we won't have to sit through that the rest of the season and have that represent us...
But Max winning would be just as bad, but then we really deserve the 0 points.
