He can actually sing which might help him get a few points with the juries.

Song is ok but a bit dated. Germany have sent much worse in recent years. Maybe not last place?

A dated and forgettable song. What a disappointing choice.

Germany deserves more but they don't want it apparently. The right choice was there and they didn't take it.

Also can we stop whining about the jury vote. Isaak won BOTH votes. BOTH OF THEM. it was a clear win, sorry that your precious Ryk failed to deliver.
Usually I'd agree but continuing voting after juries have voted kinda puts a dampener on that. At that point, you're basically telling you audience to only vote for the top 3 or else it may as well be a wasted vote

Could have been a lot worse but there need to be some drastic changes next year. Especially the cheap 'not taking Eurovision seriously' feel of the NF which evokes the we've given up air we used to have with the UK and Dutch national finals about 20 years back.

Do you see anyone in Europe in May thinking like „hell yeah that Runnunnunnaeheh song was good, I will vote for it“
Maybe a couple of descendants of African tribal people will go: hey, that chorus reminds me of my homeland - let’s vote for it?

Ryk was my clear favourite before the show. but he could not deliver. his voice sounded quite weak and there was no emotion in his performance. sorry for germany because oh boy would have been the only song with a high chance for a good result in malmö. isaak has a great voice and his performance was top altough marvin dietmans staging was very poor. but the song is not good enough.

tbh I don't mind the song at all, it's not an awful song by any means and hes a good singer but that's about it. This screams bottom 3, especially if copied like for like in Malmo. 0 Staging, mediocre outfit and not a whole heap of charisma - all with a song that leaves not much impression. It's giving James Newman. He wasn't chanceless but even in this line up i'm surprised he won. I feel sorry for our German friends to constantly get served this year after year and end up in gutter non stop. I know the feeling all to well, and you all deserve so much better from your broadcaster. :5:

I really wonder what they'll do with the staging. This basically wasn't one and did nothing, but I have no idea what else to do either.

No so g had a great staging, but others like Oh Boy or Tears like rain still had a better chance to upgrade IMO.

Anyway, if we get last again, we get the record for most last places, right?
