I didnt pay a lot of attention to the staging, because I was always typing and doing stuff, but Marvin Dietmann staged it and he is not ace in dynamic stagings. Armenia, Georgia and Austria havent lived up to the energy neither, which they needed. Dietmann would have single-handedly ruined Israel, Sweden and Finland, also.

I realized that there was no changing colours with Germany, too.

I´m disappointed but not mad or utterly sad because this time, I think that came up with something unique and different and Lord Of The Lost are a well-established band with many fans in Germany and abroad - they have a career to look at and pursue and are about to go on tour again. I can´t wait to see them live this year!

I´m just a bit surprised that televoting didn´t award them more points. 15 pts are more than any German televoting score since 2018 - I guess that´s a good sign that there are a few people voting for us... maybe it wasn´t the right song for this year - other "rock entries" kinda underperformed this year as well when it comes to televoting.

Anyway, I loved the staging, the performance, the song and I´m proud of them - it´s part of my Top 3 German entries ever and will probably stay there for a long time because I can already sense the next Levina or S!sters around the corner to represent us next year

Imo, as a prequalifier, we should go for jury bait tbh.

Honestly, it's not about them being the worst or even bad

to have points you have to reach the top 10 of each country right ? Germany was a hard candidate for a jury top 10 and for televoters they basically vote for their one or maybe two favorites entries. I'm sure at 100% that a lot of people liked Germany even more than most of the entries tonight but they just weren't their favorites to vote for
