The change of concept wasn't really necessary. It was a "good song not appreciated by a good amount people". It suddenly turned into a joke now

Visuals ≠ Good performance

At first I thought those women were referring to sisters or close friends, but then they started to get too close :D

At least they could've asked their lesbian fans to send pictures to them insead of downloading random people's pics. Is it even legal to use them?

OK i like that song but this staging looks completely stupid. Looks like the last place is coming since i don't think that this can get more than 20 points from juries.
This song was on my top 10. :(

In recent years I have rarely seen two reviews of the same rehearsal that were so completely different like these two (wiwibloggs on the one side and Matt/Sean on the other).
Did they really watch the same rehearsal? Of course we have to consider that the wiwibloggs guys tend to like everything and everyone and be not so critical, but the difference was remarkable. And by the way: I couldn't find any more reviews that were remotely positive about the German entry.

Well I have to say that they were rather on point about the German entry in recent years. Last year they were the first ones to "believe" in a top 5 placement for Germany after the first rehearsal when everyone else was like "oh yeah ok, the performance ist quite good - maybe it`s not gonna be bottom 6 after all". So maybe that`s a positive sign.
Tbh my first thought after seeing the rehearsal snippet was: "Hm ok that`s not as bad as I thought - this might do better than expected" and you guys know that I am not a fan of the song at all. We shall see.

I think the next rehearsals will be better! Their voices weren't actually that good (though I like wiwi, I think they weren't right this time about the voices) - but the rest was quite good. Not sure about the clothes but I have a feeling, they will change. Other than that I loved the catwalk thing. Not standing apart, back to back, but walking towards each other, this underlines the message very well!

LOL! This so deserves the last place with that staging. If it doesn't end up last place, it's such a injustice to "Black Smoke" and "Ghost" combined.

Don't get upset, it really doesn't matter any more. 2019 is one more lost Eurovision year for Germany. We'll have to wait for another Michael Schulte to come along some day.

How ironic since 2013 Michael Schulte has had my least favourite German entry, yet he achieved the only significant good result.

I often say the German entries tend to be underrated but this year S!sters seem like they ruined the good chances by themselves. But then again, it is still early to judge before seeing the performance in action and how it goes.

Getting the 2nd spot in the running order would be the final nail in the coffin.

Honestly I wish for that as one of the responsible people of the German team said during the preselectuon season that running order doesn't matter when asked about why Aly Ryan got second place in the line up. It's called Karma.

How it works in a national final and in Eurovision is relatively different, though. It is easier to keep audience bear with all the performances in a national final than the entire Eurovision edition. The statement may be comparatively correct if the ratings of Unser Lied für Israel show it to be that way.

And we are back at the root of the whole problem: In the national final people vote for what they personally like in their current state of mind. Hardly anyone votes for a song that primarily could do well in Eurovision. But this problem cannot be solved as long as there is a public voting procedure.

Why is this particularly a problem, though? I'd consider it better than craving for "Let's do well!" *cough* Sweden *cough*

Just one question that I need to raise... Why on the earth did the team behind :de: entry decide to remove this rotating square thing? I mean, that's what made S!sters win some months ago.
