Congrats, most unnecessary comment in the thread. xclap

Hate on NDR but leave Sisters alone ppl

Their reaction was the best part of the night. To me it felt very sincere. You could tell what it meant to them and sense the excitement.

They might not win Eurovision (I mean, not in a 100 years) but they surely deserve a Golden Raspberry for their bad acting.
"OMG! WE WON?! wHaT a SuRpRiSe!111! LOOK AT HOW HAPPY WE ARE!!! WE TOTALLY DID NOT EXPECT THIS AT ALLLLLLLL!?!!!"

i do not like the song but i think their reaction was not fake or staged at all, i believe they seriously did not expect to win

The more days that pass the more I am mad about this entry. It was written for the swiss selection - so why on earth was it allowed to particiapte on the german selection where it was all about creating a song within our own song writing camp? Everything about this act screams fake and articifially. I am sorry for these girls since they seem nice but this has written another disaster over it and its not even a surprise.
I am so sick of all these questionable and surprising results. I felt the same when I got to know the oscar results. Why can we not have nice things? :(

I don't have any problem if they are fake or not! I like their song and i like them live and that's enough for me.

Just read somewhere that Schreiber said that the winning song is exactly what they wanted, a song with a meaning and they have searched for these songs. Well, yeah Schreiber, thats why you decided them as your winners. Good one. Show me the televoting results in numbers and we can talk. It takes too long already to secure your reliability.

The song is growing on me though.

I'm slowly curing from that mess caused by Germany, but still I would to see the televote results. Just to see if germans were really so deaf that they elected the worst song of the bunch..

I am sure without the coverage and the pimp spot in last position they wouldn't have topped the voting. German voters are just very good in being influences, you can see the same on all these casting shows every year where we rarely crown the best but the one that producers decides to give the blessing too. I would say we are way worse in this regard than other countries.

but only not corrupt doesnt mean fair... there was definitely some other influences, fist of all let a song participate that was not even in the song writing camp, which was an obligatory thing for other participants... i mean now they are elected, but i just hope that something like this will never happen again after the reaction it caused.

That is not completely right. From the beginning they were searching for candidates and songs. (I remember the puzzled questions of some german fans then, why they are searching songs, if the songs should be created at the workshop).

This thread seriously keeps on giving. Let me throw the obligatory chemtrails-comment in. Stay classy, ESC-fandom.

Why is everybody so surprised of the result? We're known to vote for Jamie-Lee and Cascada when we have Gregorian, Blitzkids mvt. and Avantasia in our national final.

I have to say that I am currently in the state of really liking the song. Now only tweak the performance, no rotating shiiiz, dont be stubborn Schreiber, and we could actually see a good placement.

I actually can see the song making a decent/good placement as well as this year is so weak. And the song has charisma, I really love listening to it and seeing them perform. :D

See, I‘m wondering about this almost every NF. „The worst“ to you but are you really the classic one-night-audience? The one, who watches the songs on stage for the very first time on May 18th? No. A lot of people still do. I‘m sure a lot of the German NF voters are the ones who don’t bother about pre-Eurovision but tune in again in May only. We „hardcore Eurovision fans“ have just a completely different style of music taste. We want the special, the never heard before, brilliant staging, cultural influences at best, we want the whole package. The extraordinary.
Most other people don’t want. It‘s not that they want mainstream only. They want the icing on the cake. That special moment that makes the song different from others but it must be easy to get, either visually or musically. Something to remember easily.
Sisters weren’t my favourites either but to me it‘s the only reasonable choice. I hope they keep the turning stage because it‘s something that will be stuck in people‘s head. Also, the constant repeating of „sister“ will help.
Although I liked Lilly and Aly better musicwise I remembered more of „Sister“ after listening to all three for the first time. Sister is much more easy to sing along.
I had the same with Michael last year. Michael was really not my cup of tea but it was the only song I remembered after all the performances.
