Finally managed to listen to the german songs, quick thoughts:
1. "Let Me Go" Gregor Hägele
Very generic pop ballad, but not bad. It has some qualities, he has a great voice, but this would be lost in Tel Aviv.
2. "Wear Your Love" Aly Ryan
I like it parts of this song. The verses are pretty nice and smooth, but the chorus passes me by and sometimes I just wonder where they went when the verses are back. Not 100% sure about this, but if it has a good live performance it can work decently.
3. "The Day I Loved You Most" Makeda
Zzzzz jeeze this is the worst kind of ballads. She sings well, but NOTHING HAPPENS! Wake me up when it ends.
4. "Demons" BB Thomaz
What the heck happened? I almost fell asleep in the verses and then suddenly this Bohemian Rhapsody kind of scare happen in the chorus. I don't know, it is a little of everything here...I can't decide what to think of this.
5. "Surprise" Lilly Among Clouds
This is the most promising so far. It is very Lana Del Rey, but her voice is more Marina & The Diamonds though. I like this, it is a little weird though and I happen myself to lose track at times...but it makes me also very excited to hear some more. If this is good live, than this could be a nice surprise in Tel Aviv.
6. "Our City" Linus Bruhn
This is not my song. Not at all. Nope
7. "Sister" S!sters
This is sweet...too sweet for me though. I don't even care for the lyrics....all siblings fight, these girls are no different. So nope, not working for me.
So yeah, it is only one song that I cared to listen to it fully directly, and that was "Surprise". But we'll see what happens tonight, maybe someone can surprise live!
So listened to the songs on euroision.de and WOW Lilly's song is very good!! Please
