Okay, Lilly's song's out by now!
It's Lilly as we know and love her. As someone who loves her music, I must say it's the best song in our NF. It comes with a feeling of epicness, reminds me on songs produced for trailers. I'm definitely going to hear it very often. But my taste isn't everybody's taste and I can see people not responding too well on it, since it definitely needs several listen to grow on you. It isn't an ESC song, that's for sure, but I really don't know, how well this song can work on the ESC stage....
Overall Aly's song is love at first sound. Lilly's song needs a bit growing....
Okay, just listened to Sister. Damn, it's just unfair, if you had heard Surprise before it. It's not a bad song and it's not even the weakest song in our NF, but it's no competition for Lilly, Aly or BB Thomas. I would give it a good fourth placing in my personal ranking...
I'd be happy seeing it do well, but I don't particularly think its all that catchy (or top 5 worthy for that matter). It feels 100% like a eurovision song through and through to me in production and lyrics, and like it was made with that in mind. Also like a song not from 2018/2019 but from around 7 or 8 years ago perhaps (not a bad thing imo, I prefer music from then). I could totally envision it in the UK NF in the place of Sweet Lies, it reminds me of Asandas song from 2018. Probably the staging and seeing it live will lift it for me, so lets wait and see but it's a decent song and not an entry to be ashamed of by any means should it win.
