The video is excellent - Unique and retro at the same time. The "mad scientist"-look made me crack up so hard. I can appreciate a man that don't take himself all too seriously, it seems to be a rarity these days.

Fun Fact: The Super-8 camera posed by the lead-singer in the video is a Sankyo EM-30. How do I know this? Well.. I own one myself! I also think you can see it if you watch carefully in one of the closeups. Not the best camera in the world, no 24fps mode, too few cartridges compatible (without hampering with T/D filters). But small, lightweight and easy to use. Too much geek-info already, so l'll leave it at that before your head explodes.

Silly video imo... tries to be funny without being it.
or it's just not my kind of humor....

And what's the connection to the song anyway?

That girl represents me, and Roberto represents the Georgian song.

Why? We all know it won't do well, no need to laugh about it. Doesn't mean it's bad music. I, and many other people love this style of music, but it's less likely to appeal to Eurovision viewers. I've already accepted it won't qualify, but I'm happy this song is going to Eurovision.

I was speaking in jest given an earlier comment in this thread ;) Of course I won't be laughing if it doesn't qualify lol, I always feel sorry when people's favourites don't make it even if I hate the song myself.

This is such a great song. Alt-rock combined with a FIFA '99 technojam? GET IN!!!

If the juries, and some of the viewers weren't total plebs, this might have had some chance to qualify.

Different genres, thinking outside of the box and using your own language are things that should be encouraged, instead of making absolute generic crap like the Russian song. It saddens me to no end to see it on top of the odds. :(

Well my dear friend, unlike crazy "Szpack-Shakwhateverforthetop-5" and "Lazarevforthevictory!" enthusiasts, people who love this song keep it real and understand it won't do well, so we just enjoy great music without wearing a blindfold, thank you very much xqueenbitch

They definitely earn this year's award for most improved entry. At the National Final it was quite rough. Now that they polished it I am pleasantly surprised how strong it is. I like the story aspect, and the bookends (the song starts and ends with the same line) makes the song stand out. It's interesting that Georgia likes to experiment every other year (with some mistakes made of course) and bring different acts that are very out of the box. I know the chances of them qualifying is not great, but I'm rooting for them anyway. If they do get into the final, it would be interesting where they end up.

Although, I wonder if they will bring their Play-Doh instruments to the show...:)

i don't know how Georgia will do but i think they deserve to reach the final to bring this kind of rock music!

But btw, this kind of music is popular in Belgium, it sounds ""almost"" the same (i'm thinking of these bands : Ghinzu, Girls in Hawaii, Soulwax, Malibu Stacy, Sharko, Joshua).
So i guess they'll receive points from them in the SF

I completely agree. While the song wasn't bad to begin with, the new version is really good. I still hate the abrupt ending though, really throws me off every time. I have no idea whether this has a chance to qualify, but since it's in the second Semi which is considered less competitive....well, nothing is impossible.
