Partly wrong there!!
Maltese's for everyday 'common' life that kind of thing, but on the media, English is plastered all around - adverts, magazines, products, most radio DJs, it's as if Maltese is a sub-standard language. Trust me, there's more of a chance San Marino will win the contest with 30 12 points than a song in Maltese!
People tend to snub Maltese to appear posh, intellectual and educated. Hope they rot in hell (no offence to native English speakers of course)
I mean no offence but Maltese seems like one of the harshest languages to sing in... so that's probably why
You're right. Most TV-hosts though co-switch languages or even snub Maltese at all, as in when having foreign guests, they don't bother to translate: 'of coursr, everyone understands English, why bother?!'
And the Northern part of Malta is crowded with English-speaking people, living a culture of their own. The souther part of Malta is more 'Maltese' is you know what I mean!
ROTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
That's true, I agree. I'd like to give a Maltese song a try in FSC but hardly no one records music in Maltese as far as I know - but if Germans and Israelis sing in their native languages, then why shouldn't we? *
*yes, in my opinion those languages are also 'un-song-friendly'

If I find a decent one, yes for sure! Wish me luck in actually finding one though
Well... I don't know what to make of that?
Boring.
