Don't think so. I would guess it's fully in English though.

Probably... just like everything else this year :(

Though ethno in English? Especially if they're aiming for more "serious" ethno... it's just a bit meh...

Don't worry A-lister.
Your lovely Greece will not disappoint you. ;)

But it all depends on the music too, didn't really like the Greek entry last year so xshrug

I agree with you. I usually don't care much for the language, but so far all the entries have been in English and the one or two that are not are billingual, except for Italy. It'd be just bad to have a ESC with such a low amount of songs in national languages. Out of the remaining countries Portugal was the only one that would be assured to sing in English, considering the rules of our NF, but not anymore, as now the winning song can be changed to English if the delegation thinks it suits best. So there's a bad possibility we may have no more songs in native languages this year, except for San Marino

I would at least think that Montenegro is going with their own language, based on the singer's previous songs. Also Germany might (Unheilig is one of the favourites). Slovenia, Portugal and Greece are possibilities too, depending on the songs.

Yes, of course. There's the exception of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Malta.

Ehm, Ireland could chose Gaelic-Irish if they had balls to do it, and Malta should choose Maltese... in the Maltese case especially there's not really an excuse for using English as they aren't even speaking English on their broadcaster channel

Can't say I agree on that statement, but regardless it's the broadcaster that is responsible for their entry and they're not even having English as the first language on Malta (apparently), so I never got that excuse tbh. But EBU always wanted to bring more English to the contest, it's just apparent to see how those juries are operating and have been forever.

Video looks like some sort of San Fransisco late 1960's hippie setting... like from the musical "Hair" or something

Gosh, i'm really looking forward to hearing this one. I just have a feeling. The video looks greatxhbang

I'm looking in the direction of Georgia, Germany, Moldova, (possibly) Sweden and of course San Marino. These five countries have the potential to get me excited about this years contest.

I have cautiously high hopes for this. I hope I don't get let down.

Partly wrong there!!

Maltese's for everyday 'common' life that kind of thing, but on the media, English is plastered all around - adverts, magazines, products, most radio DJs, it's as if Maltese is a sub-standard language. Trust me, there's more of a chance San Marino will win the contest with 30 12 points than a song in Maltese!

People tend to snub Maltese to appear posh, intellectual and educated. Hope they rot in hell (no offence to native English speakers of course)
