this is certainly a joke as he, himself, admits in the song but still, most joke entries were tolerable in some manners, this one is not, sorry. this just makes everything else sound better, that's all.

Indeed. I even could stand Verka´s song, but this one is a true horror. I only watch it for fun when i dont have anything else to laugh for :lol:

Does anyone agree with me, and have any ideas about why, Georgia is by far the worst of the "black sea countries" in the ESC? Armenia and Azerbajian have consistently sent very interesting and professional entries since they entered the contest, while Georgia's have only been mediocre and forgettable as far as i can remember. I know Georgia has a very strong and creative contemporary music scene as well as a incredible and unique heritage of traditional music to draw from, so why are you disappointing me? Is it something about the selection process or are you just not trying?

I feel the same way, well I haven't been a major fan of Azeri entries aswell (import products and quite generic), but atleast they've put more effort (but they also have more money to do so). Armenia is my favorite ESC country of the Caucasian ones; solid entries (apart from debut and last year), true to their own music heritage and well performed.

Georgia started out very promising and imo just brilliant with "Visionary Dream" 2007, then it all went down-hill from there, dunno why? 2010 was atleast decent and a good performance, but the rest of their entries not my cup at all and quite amateur-ish in both sound and performances.

I also don't get it because they have really nice traditional music atleast, however I don't know very much about their contemporary music scene though to be honest. I really hope for their own sake that their ESC entries weren't an indication of what's popular there.

Let's start with the fact that of Azerbaijan-Armenia-Georgia the last one is the only "black sea country" :D
But overall i agree though i think i liked most of their entries, especially "One More Day", "Shine", "Visionary Dream", i didn't like "Peace will come" and now "I'm a Joker", 3 out of 5, not that bad, huh?
What i like about Georgia is that they always come out with something different, but this year they've gone too far with it. Overall, i like the way our three Caucasian friends (ok, two) do at the ESC.

P.S: I miss Georgian wine and mineral water, yesterday by dad brought 15 bottles from Kazakhstan, what a delight it is, when we gonna reconcile...

Why would they?

From what i hear they not gonna change the song but, and i quote "we will change it to at least 70%"...so maybe in the end it's gonna be a new song after all

Black Sea countries??? Only Georgia borders at the Black Sea. Azerbaijan borders at Caspian Sea, and Armenia is not surrounded by Sea.
Better call it South-Caucasian countries, where also a part of Turkey belongs to ;)
