For a second year in a row we got a massive artist to represent us. For those who don't know, Louane was HUGELY successful in 2014-2016 and she's still in our charts every new album she releases, her single " La pluie" hat a great success last year.

Of course, we need to wait for the song... But I'm impressed . every singer we had between 2010-2022 were nothing compared the ones we had in 2024-2025, because they are successful since on long time ( not like la zarra or bilal) and they are successful right now ( not like Anggun) .

Thank you, France for putting music first!
xheart

France is slowly becoming a perfect esc country! It's great that the UK is also taking it seriously, Italy as well. Spain could learn a thing or two.

Honestly think Spain should just ditch Benidorm, it gets worse and worse year by year and I think many famous Spanish artists would do esc but not via Benidorm.

Wow! I'm shocked. Another huge and popular name. Another well-established act!
Louane even got a few minor hits here in Germany.

France has become such a powerhouse in Eurovision lately, imo. - Even when they "flopped" they served us well, e.g. Fulenn and Evidemment.

I can't believe this but I think that France is heading towards the 5th consecutive appearance on my personal ESC Top 10.
They've been bloodily brilliant in this decade so far Oo

Thanks Le Parisien for the leak. For once, they're actually helpful when it comes to Eurovision. The french delegation must be in panic mode right now and absolute chaos. They haven't communicated anything for months, not saying anything and planned initially to reveal the song after Melodifestivalen. Their visuals are probably not even ready (i could be wrong) and the video performance maybe not even recorded. This is called Karma.

Now about the choice : I'm fine with it, not my most favourite option coming from my country but i don't wanted Santa so i'm kinda relieved. Now let's hope the french delegation played on her qualities and strengths as an artist because it could either absolutely amazing and beautiful or a car crash. So i'm curious about this.

This is super exciting. BTW She is also an established actress that won the César (frenchs equivalent to the Oscar). The movie Coda (which won the Oscar for Best Picture) is based on her life btw. :D

Gotta correct here (good thing I just rewatched La Famille Bélier this morning), the movie CODA is a remake of the movie for which she won the César, it's not based on her life tho
