Are we getting the song tomorrow? I'm so excited to hear it. Last year I had 'winner vibes' from Netherlands before the song was released, and they won. This year France is giving me the same vibes. Let's see ;)

Oh, my bad :D
Need to wait one more week.
A kind tribute to one of my favourite Mello songs ever

What would you like? What do you expect?

As soon as the HoD (or someone else, I don't remember) announced that the selected entry stood out even after 10 songs being played, I think that it'll be something epic à-la Arcade with an even more captivating beat.

Even though it might be a bit cocky to say that, I do honestly believe in the fact that :fr: might do great this year.

Hum, a pop-folk enriched standout song... Why does it make me think of Ed Sheeran? Quite a few people here would consider that an absolute disaster :D.

Edit: I don't care what genre it is, I just hope it is real good :)

I hope you're right, I actually had high expectations for France this year but was disappointed by the artist announcement. What Tom Leeb usually offers just seems so bland and without any flavor, nothing particular enough for him to denote.
But as they have so much belief in this song, it makes me want to believe in it too.

Personally, I'm so curious about the "addictive side" of the song. I can easily see a mix between "Me and my guitar" and "Arcade", a song with a gimmick, like "youhou" from J'ai cherché or the "oohoo" in the chorus of Arcade, but I really don't know.

I just hope that it won't be too slow, after "Mercy" and "Roi" even if actually I don't really care about the "tempo" of the song, I just hope something that makes me go crazy like "omg, am I dreaming or it could finally be our year ?". I just can't wait anymore. :ROFLMAO: I can already see myself in front of my TV 5 minutes before the reveal, my heart beating so fast as if I was going to die if the song was bad, lol. :ROFLMAO:

Regardless of the result, France can be really proud of each entry they sent since 2016. They really raised the bar to Mars. Definitely one of the standouts of the second half of the past decade. Take notes, :uk: :es: :de:

Thanks ! I hope we'll keep up the good work during this new decade and maybe finally get our first win since 1977 (43 years in 2020, omg). I'm 21, I hope I will have the chance to see at least a winning from us before I die, lol. :ROFLMAO:

Same age same problem  Even before winning, if we could get more than once in the top 10 or even 5 it would already be fine

:uk: & :es: real hopeless case of the decade but :de: is definitely the biggest imo. How could a country could start the year so amazing and strong with a victory and top 10s, and then end it with a string of last places and bottom 3s. it's a real shame. :fr: should be proud of their growth in the contest.
