Perhaps also people, who voted this, wanted to give juries a lesson/fuck off, because of what happened last year to Käärijä. I hope, that this will those voters a lesson or satisfaction.

Obviously. Since the song is already number 6 on Spotify. It didn't even last 2 days in the top 3, let alone the top 5.

Paskana is still number 2 ;)

Well I thought I’d give it a few days from my first listen to see if my hatred for Finland’s song was a little OTT and raw.

It wasn’t. I hate it even more! It’s such a backwards step for Eurovision that to me harms the reputation of the competition as it moves forward into this new more credible era.

I do want it to flop but know the public - especially the UK who for years were fed a certain view of Eurovision that is now only just changing - that this is Eurovision at its best. For me, it’s not.

I can accept it reaching the Grand Final in May after storming the semis, but I’d love it to flop badly in May. I don’t think it will sadly…

I think it's qualifying.

But in the final idk, Estonia and the Netherlands, perhaps even Croatia will try to win over the same audience and I definitely think Estonia (5Miinust) and whatever Joost will send will be better and also more jury-friendly at the same time + in their language.

Not to mention Joost and Windows95man have similar appearances.

I think the bottom 3 juries (it should be 26th but you usually get some juries that decide to be edgy and will throw this some points) and around 14th in the televote, resulting in an 18th place finish.

Well InCulto (Lithuania 2010) would have qualified with only televote in semifinal, because they placed 8th in their semifinal. So this will qualify, but this success on GF depens on how Estonia and Croatia Will choose their entry. Also Netherland is still A question Mark.

Surely it won't win and many don't like it but, for me, Finland will get a sure Top 10. Finland continues its shining path. When quality becomes a constant, victory will come shortly.

I don’t think so. I watched the full show and this was the only one that caught my attention. And with that voting system, no doubts this was winning.

I think Sara was a possible NQ in Eurovision…

i totally love this song and the staging, it gives me a huge boost of positive vibes. Gave it 12 points.

And i am seriously shocked why the local audience on this site rated it so low. Now, is it gonna be super hard to explain that Bill Gates personally does not support spreading an LGBTQ-dictatorship around the world?? Gotcha, darlings! Muahahaha

Doubt this will come top 10. Since it's not quality.
We don't know what other songs will come into play. They could be worse or nothing special. If Treneletul risked getting plenty of votes with a simple country-Moldavian sound, I don't see why Windows95Man can't at least enter the low top 10. After all, it will collect votes from lovers of jokey songs. Clear that Cyan Kicks and Sara Siipola were better but let's not underestimate the current representative of Finland.

"Treneletul" and the way it was staged, it's humour, probably worked really well with the older public that like to watch and like to vote, Moldova had a similar vibe in 2018 and it also worked, plus Moldova usually gets support from the moldovan, romanian and russian(particularly in 2018 & 2021) diasphoras. "No Rules*" is a 2000's eurodance track, with a 2000's staging and humour, it won't resonate with the same public that liked and voted those moldovan entries, but it does resonate with the same crowd that loved the vegans, which may be bad news because Latvia was third to last in the televote in 2022.

Jesus I forgot about that...

2017 was one of the weakest years ever though. Especially the final. Like we had Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary and Portugal. Everything else was either mid or straight up bad.
I don't think it was a weak year personally.

A lot of entries that for me had no redeeming qualities made top 10. It will be staged well and performed well I'm pretty sure but it won't do anywhere as well as Käärijä did.
