Angry, pissed and sad is my feelings right now.
You don't need to win Eurovision to become a legend of the contest.
I think it was clear that people's winner was Finland yesterday.

I watch the contest in a French cinema in Paris and the audience was going really crazy about Kaarija's performance. He derserved the #1 place so much.

The peoples champ! It's KEiiNO x2. And it's not that Sweden won with juries but that the juries built such an astronomical lead for them that the televote didn't matter in the end, I read in a youtube comment that even if Finland got the max allowed 432 points they would still be a point short of Sweden. :(

Also how come Finland televote didn't give Sweden, Israel and Ukraine any points, was there any coordination on in the ground in Finland not to vote for your rivals?

Max. points were this year 444 points, because rest of the world was one public vote.

It really is just 2015 reloaded. Bear with me, I'm currently still at the stage of frustration

'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade'. Yes I'm upset, but maybe the way to look at this is that Kaarija has well and truly entered the lineup of Eurovision icons, and knows he's loved by the public. Look at Verka, Mahmood, Dadi Freyr who've all made reappearances at Grand Finals. Kaarija I'm sure will be no different.

As a fellow Formula 1 and Seb Vettel enjoyer, this is the equivalent of Canada 2019.

:fi: :fi: :fi: Congratulations Käärijä and Finland! :fi: :fi: :fi:

You are the true winner of the people, winning the televote in 18 countries compared to Sweden winning the televote in zero countries. Even Austria’s 0.003 is a lot in comparison to nothing but zero.

Winning the televote and achieving Finland’s second-best result in the history of the contest are incredible achievements to be proud of.

Downgrading this from the 2 I originally gave it on first listen, I forgot to upgrade it to a fair enough 5 at some point, down to a ZERO due how fucking annoying y'all are with the "Finland should have won"

Oh yeah people aren't allowed to hate on Tattoo because it won over Cha Cha Cha but people are allowed to downgrade Cha Cha Cha as a song because people saying it should have won xheart Amazing double standards

Yes, because its supposed amazingness and the endless should have won everywhere and hate leaves a very bad taste making me literaly like the song less because I associate it with how toxic the fandom can be.

Sweden was my second fave, I literally supported them in equal measure, but the Loreen stans have been way more toxic throughout the season by a large margin. Ever since it won Melodifestivalen, you couldn't even dare to not bow before the greatness of Loreen, she was the winner already, so let's not talk about toxicity. It's only natural for fans to feel disappointed when one song was heavily pushed by the jury to the point of receiving almost as many points as frickin' Portugal, which was the ultimate jury bait.
