If the song only had verses I think I could even give it 6-7 points, they are quite catchy - though too monotonous to my taste and too long. But the chorus is a no-go. It is beyond me why people love this, it’s on par with so many joke entries we had and surely not better than Ikke‘s song or "Woki mit dein Popo" which reminds me of this and came dead last iirc. But to each their own. I can at least appreciate the effort and the joy he has on stage! Still sad Kuumaa didn’t make it.

I think he just don’t want Ukraine, Croatia or Czechia to gain any televotes. So he is promoting "inoffensive" songs now. So again: nice try! ;)

Eurovision hasn't been hosted in the North for quite some time now, and I really hope it's Finland over Sweden this year.

Finland 2007 had a very special and peculiar flavour compared to their Scandinavian neighbours. Their stage and graphic design looks still modern and fresh today, their hosts were amazing. Actually, the simple yet quirky unicoloured patterns are nowadays everywhere in corporate design, but back then it looked very avantgarde. I hope Finland could again bring something fresh, new and trendsetting to the table.

However, I fear not, when I look at the horrible new Nokia logo :( Without the A at the end, it looks like random geometry.

Norway 2010 gave a very conservative looking show with generic logo and Sweden very strange, complex logos with weird colours, 2013 also very scaled back, 2016 very Apple iPad Store.

2007 was the only Eurovision in the last 20 years, that felt like a huge leap forward. Followed by Denmark 2014.

I'm dying to see a fresh take on Eurovision, like it was in the 80's and 90's. From the UK I only expect a canned version as usual in recent years.

I'm downgrading from :12: to :10: points. This has been a fader during the past days. I think I won't listen to it that much until May but then enjoy it even more again on the big stage!

I just went through Finnish nf songs and gosh how lit could it potentially get? Several songs could go to Eurovision and all of them would do a good score. People hyping Melfest like hell with all these generic songs and UMK getting almost nothing in the fandom is just so cruel.
