i guess it depends... i tried mimicking a Finnish friend and she said i was fine pronunciation wise, but wouldn't even begin to understand the whole double letter vs single letter. ( you can see i'm an Anaheim Ducks fan and we had a joke when Saku Koivu joined our team, that he can't be Finnish, since his name has absolutely no double letters )

it's interesting though, i'm not THAT good with distinguishing non-Roman or non-Slavic languages from each other and i didn't realize right away that Finland wasn't singing in Finnish this year.
i only kinda noticed that the language didn't seem funny to me, which Finnish does. absolutely no offence, but it happens sometimes: some languages sound "funny" to an ear used to another language. (like Spanish sounds like constant cursing to a Russian ear at least Spanish spoken in Latin America)

This song is my favorite from the first semi-final. I hope the performance will be great, and Pernilla will get to the finals. I do not understand why bookmakers odds are so low.
The melody is very reflective, she has a wonderful voice. And Pernilla itself is very beautiful. My heart just melts.
Overall, there are some other songs up in my top from the second semi-final and pre-qualified Italy, while I will keep fingers crossedfor for Finland.
And it is likely that in the first semi (as Latvia is in it) will vote for Finland.
