I didn't like their entry last year, and juries have 'punished' Finland in 2010 when they didn't play by 'their' rules (which means English and without local touch), so we'll see how they'll treat Finland this year...

Yes, that translation is pretty much spot on :)

I love this song, it has something magical to it. It's not a favorite, but I'm crossing all my fingers and toes for a qualification. 12 Points

This song is beautiful, just beautiful. The arrangement compliments the voice perfectly. I doubt it will trouble a top ten, but good choice Finland. I feel it will qualify.

A month ago I was not interested in this song at all, but after a first good listen I'm totally caught by it. It's just....a little miracle.
A winter tale of a long long time ago of a mysterious land is being whispered in my ears, in a mesmerizing, seductive way, a story that never ends and that I can't stop listening to.

That's why I've rewarded it with, yes yes, 12 points in the ranking game (which I take quite seriously). In other words, it's my number 1 song.

I think this song has something special about it and I love her voice.

The Nordic nations have to be congratulated on the standard of the songs they send this year but this in a way will make it harder for songs like this to do well as the regional vote will be split somewhat. I really hope this makes the final and does well but I do have some fears others may not appreciate it the way I do.

This is so outdated and eurovision.....

No chance for reaching the final imo

Eurovision caters for many different type of songs, not necessarily those 'current' or on radio play lists round Europe today. Its partly why I love the competition so. Song's like Russia this year would never see the light of day without Eurovision, though I'm not sure thats a great thing personally :)
Some people see something magical in this song; I admire its melody and simplicity - that never is 'outdated' in my opinion but obviously respect that you see nothing in it yourself.

xkiss yeah, I totally agree with you on this.
Imo, this entry is a precious little gem in this year's competition and I gave 12 points to it, too.

It's a special one, unique. And sooo beautiful *sigh* - not a ballad (on 'usual' terms) of course, it is a lullaby in fact...possibly the most wonderful and amazing lullaby I've ever listened to (since I was...? I can't remember anymore.)
This is one of the few entries that makes me feel really deep inside...(like Estonia's one, to name one); I love that peaceful and soothing vibe around it everytime I listen to it, and I never feel 'bored' - or anything like that.

I'm a little bit worried about it's chances in the semi, though, tbh....
I would be very happy, if this one manages to qualify, for sure.

It's simple but really nice and peculiar. It's grown on me and I hope Pernilla makes it to the Final. No matter what happens, Finnish must feel happy. Finland is a "brave" country in the contest. Brave because they try different styles, because they won with a Metal song and brave because they've brought Skandinavian languages back to the contest. So good luck ;)

Beautiful and quite ethereal. In many ways it reminds me of 'Randajad' in that it has a real mysticism to it and to an English ear it sounds very foreign in a very good way. The sort of thing that first made me fall in love with Eurovision.

Unfortunately I'm not sure it has enough bite to find its way through to the final

That's great to hear! But it would be even better if you could also hear the magic, the wonderfulness in Per Sempre :D, die eigentliche Wollmilchsau des ganzen ESC 2012.

I think Pernilla will qualify but it will be tough....
